I tried these splitters in a number of different combinations with two Cat7 cables. They do. Not. Work. When you plug into the double, only one device will work at a time.

I always need couplers for when I need to extend my network cables or have to repair them and they end up too short.The LAN cable splitters could be a life saver if you don't want to run two network cables to the same spot or you already have one cable there and just need another quick port for something you added later.I did test the splitter really quick with one of my routers and a networked weather station device and both worked online when I put one line from my switch and hooked them one to each port, very handy. Good deal for everything you get and they actually work.

This does the job well, making use of the unused wires on the cat 6 to turn one connection into two separate isolated connections.
