The pickup did not clear the flywheel and had to be clearance and will not charge at all. No blown fuses all other things check okay.The cold snap on January delayed the install and I was unable to return it.It had to put in and removed 3x to get the pickup to clear the flywheel without contact. Might as well have tossed the money in the trash.

This is the real deal, instructions were better than most that come with aftermarket parts, components and connectors are OEM grade. Wish I had remembered to order a gasket for the case.

I had high hopes for this product and increased charging capability for my 06 YFZ450. My stock stator couldn't keep up with my lights and I had dead batteries. I tore into the bike and replaced my stator with this and put it all back together. I was shocked that the bike no longer would start and began troubleshooting it. Found no spark and after a few hours of chasing wires and ohms checking found the new stator I just installed was defective. Contacted the company and was told they would refund it. Installed my old stator and it fired right up. After RMStator received the item back they refunded only a portion of the money and charged me a $40 restocking fee! Imagine spending hours tearing down the motor to replace something, rebuilding it, then hours troubleshooting and then charged for their defective item! Poor customer service, even worse quality control. Use a different company. Hopefully this one will be bankrupt soon with their practices.

So literally the only reason I got this was because I wanted to run led headlights. That’s it no other reason, ok and Maeby I wanted to run a light bar too. But now I have headlights ran off the battery, it’s super and my battery well it still charges, it was a pretty simple install, although I recommend just drain your oil before you install it, you can tilt it on its side but I would only do that if you just did and oil change but be ready to make some kind of mess. One complain is the rectifier cable is super long for no reason and some connectors I had to re-pin them because I didn’t like how the wire seal was pretty much half way out. If you don’t have a torque wrench just use blue or red locktight, haven’t had any issues and have been pretty happy with it.

Idk if I'm the only one having this issue? The stator is keeping my battery charged great! But a soon as I rev the motor is blows headlight bulbs. Am I suppose to run a higher output bulb now?

Installs and fits perfect on YFZ450 quad 2006. Good step by step sample. Only thing is does not provide torque specs for stator cover but overall great product. For the price should include gasket!!!
