These are very nice! Sure wsh they came in 20-24" I'm gonna make them work on my huge square pots since I need something to help roll them. They come ready to use. No assembly.

didn’t use it as a plant caddy used it for a trashcan that holds my wrapping paper and it doesn’t slide off. It was perfect.

The idea of an adjustable plant caddy is great. But after I open the box I didn’t think so. It looks daunting but fairly simple after you start. Just remember to assemble 2 halves then put those two together. Seems well made. So if you had an extremely heavy pot I think it’d be okay.Don’t buy this if you want it ready out of the box. Giving it a 4 star so far deduct one for complexity of assembly.

I purchased the screw style based on a hunch. I came in a smallish package but was easy to remove and put together. Basically you insert the bars in each quarter of the base. Put one half together then with both bars in one side push them into the other half and then install the screws. I adjusted it for a large air purifier about 16 inch diameter that I wanted to roll to different room. Rolls smoothly. You do have to tip an edge up a little with your foot to get it over lip between different room floorings But it works well. A very good value. Parts seem well made and sturdy. It would work well for any number of heavy round items that need to be moved easily.

Purchased 2 of these for my balcony planters. One of them broke straight away where the screws take the weight. Poor product design. Not good value for money.

From the wife - who actually bought this: This product will not hold a pot or anything else that weighs over say 30 lbs. As you can see, I have a rather large desert rose pot and it is bowing in the middle. These plants with dirt and pot do not weigh even 50 lbs. The wheels are also not going to stand up to a salt-air environment as the both the break tab and wheels themselves will rust to pieces. The next time I put any kind of pressure on the wheels, it is going to break in the middle. My suggestion would be to put aluminum wheels and tabs and some sort of bracing in the middle - that would actually make it worth $75.00. IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM are these going to hold 150 lbs - don't even try it. I would NOT recommend this product at 75.00 even for four of them - way too expensive and not as advertised. Things that don't weigh very much, perfect. Things that weigh more than 30 lbs, NOPE!

UPDATE: i really like these caddies. They look nice, move well. However, be aware of a discrepancy in how the item is depicted. I advised customer service of the following:Upon receipt of two more sets of these in a large box today, one set was in a plastic bag, the other in the manufacturers’/distributors’ box with their label. It may just be a fluke, but one caddy in the set in the plastic bag was broken in half, and the edge of one half was badly damaged. How in the world that happened I don’t know. These are heavy, sturdy caddies.The second set in a box was fine…but it is *not* as shown. Instead of a round base, it’s *square*. No problem for me, but someone else may not like the square version.———————————————Like probably many customers here, I have tried all kinds of plant caddies over the years. Many have the cheaper plastic wheels. Even if the platform is sturdy, the wheels almost always stop working after a short period of time, either because they get rusted or just plain don't work any more. The things become nothing more than plant holders at that point. Metal platforms rust, and plastic gets brittle and cracks easily in the harsh environment of the South.I’ve been gradually replacing my old plant caddies. I need ones that are easy to clean, have solid wheels I can rely on, can tolerate the environment and allow me to move my pots easily. I have a number of pots in the yard…which always need to be moved either to wash the pavement they’re on or to sequester them away when a storm is approaching (far too often these days). This product (along with another, more expensive one that I use only for much larger pots) is excellent. Very sturdy and rolls smoothly on concrete. No concern about the wheels failing or the platform rusting or cracking…which is always a problem down here with the truly acid rain. Metal and cheap plastic doesn’t last very long here.
