About this item

  • ROUSH 2011-2014 V6 Mustang Exhaust Kit with round flash-chromed tips
  • Enhanced aggressive sound tone and volume; Unique open-chambered design
  • Increased air flow (decreased back pressure) for maximized horsepower and torque
  • 409 stainless steel mufflers and pipes; Chrome-flashed 304 stainless steel tips
  • Does not negatively affect emissions

This kit fits 2011-2014 V6 Mustangs and features an all-new ROUSH open-chambered muffler with round tips. In contrast to the conventional fiberglass-packed muffler design, this open muffler has a less inhibited sound, increased longevity (because there is no fiberglass packing that tends to break-down over time), and increased air flow for maximized power. Another great feature of this system is the elimination of the in-cockpit boom, which is common in performance exhaust systems at cruising speeds. The round tips of this Mustang dual exhaust kit are made from high-quality 304 stainless steel. The shiny finish of these tips are made with a special chrome flashing process that is dramatically more resistant to cracking and flaking than conventional chrome surfacing. The mufflers and inlet pipe are made from 409 stainless steel for improved durability. This V6 Mustang Exhaust kit installs quick and easy. It uses the factory hanger mounting points -- you don't have to fabricate your own. This kit also features spherical OE-quality clamps for a perfect fit.

Was excited after researching for an axle back I wanted and this was finally delivered. Passenger side went on fine but driver side I fought with much more just to find the connecting point was over flared and the spherical clamp wasn’t big enough. Spent an extra two hours just trying to fasten it in place because I’ve already spent all this time fighting with it I wasn’t going back.

Starting off with a muffler delete the roush provides a way better sound . It's more of a deep tone. Also because of the muffler delete the removal was way easier for me . Don't expect any bangs or pops like most videos though .

My husband's '13 mustang sounds amazing with this! It was not hard to install, it's easier if you have the rear end lifted. It is loud, especially with acceleration. When you have the car in drive and just coast it isn't loud at all. It is kind of like a purr when it's just coasting. I highly recommend, well worth the money!

I bought my 2012 Mustang V-6, 6 speed manual, used 3 months ago, and decided to jazz up the exhaust a bit. Like the 3-star rating says, "it's OK." The caveat is, I'd never done this before - putting a performance exhaust on a car - and had some erroneous assumptions. The exhaust sounds fine at idle, and when revving the engine. Also sounds good under acceleration, although it tends to backfire in the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, and drone pretty heavily under load. I can live with the backfiring (with apology to the neighbors), but the drone is aggravating, as it is there most of the time at highway speeds in sixth gear. I live in a somewhat hilly area (central TX), and any incline will bring on the drone. I can get rid of it by staying in fifth gear, and I don't lose more then 5-10% gas mileage by doing that, but still... Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be an easy way to sonic-sample exhausts outside of youtube, and that didn't give the full experience.

Super easy to install, sounds amazing!!! I did it in my garage in about an hour to take my stock off and put my Roush on. WARNING: if you don't use a lift and take off the pipe in the front the driver side will give you a run for your money. I did all mine on the ground with no jack or lift and the driver side is a tighter squeeze than the passenger side, but it is do able, but if you want your stock off and roush on in less than 20 minutes i suggest using a lift and unbolting the front part of the pipe. Great product!!

This system looks great! And it is loud! I love it. It has a great rumble at idle and at speed with higher rpm it has like an exotic car sound. I did notice a little boom at freeway speeds but not really a bad one. After a few days I'm used to the sound and love it even more! Tunnels, omg drive thru a tunnel roll your window down, drop a gear or two and enjoy the wonderful sound!!! It has that cool popping sound when decelerating. One cool thing I noticed is I'm getting 4 more mpg! Even with driving hard and hammering it its still getting better milage than before. Mixed driving I was getting 22 to 24 now it's 26 to 28
