Great of household usage and DIY projects. I put together a lot of furniture and household items and this makes the process extremely easy and fast. The product is strong and durable and easy to handle and grip making it simple to use. Fits normal sized drill bits. Comes with a plug for charging so you're not dependent on batteries. Plug it in, let it charge and go. Also comes with a storage case. Its an impressive drill and rivals those costing twice as much.

I ordered the SainSmart 12V Max Cordless Drill/Driver Kit and it has come in handy a few times already.I like the 3/8" keyless all-metal chuck for changing bits quick and easy, and the 2 Ah long-life battery lets me power through my projects. The metal nibbler drill attachment is super for cutting.Put a bit on it and its a screwdriver. It has a forward and reverse switch for screwing in or removing screws. The chuck takes a large range of bits and you can loosen or tighten the chuck by hand. I especially appreciate that it has a LED light built right into it so I always have it because I usually need it.iron, tinplate, steel, copper, and aluminum with precision and ease. Overall, I highly recommend this drill kit for anyone looking for a versatile and reliable tool for their DIY projects.

The drill works, but I have several concerns. First of all, the battery is proprietary (but aren't they all?). The drill is advertised as 12v, but the battery is actually labeled as a 16.4 volt—an oddball. When the battery goes bad, I am not sure where to go to get a new one. More popular brands have batteries readily available everywhere. Another concern is better quality cordless drills have a feature where the chuck will lock in place when you are trying to tighten the drill bit. Even my cheapie master force drill has that feature. This drill chuck does not lock in place, so you have to try to grip half the chuck with a couple of fingers to hold it steady while you tighten the chuck against the drill bit with the other hand. It is clumsy. The drill kit comes with a plastic case and a metal nibbler, which struggles to cut through an aluminum license plate. For the total price of $49.99, I still don't think you get your money's worth. I would be happy to own the drill for a list price of $15 just to have a spare drill around when doing my cabinet work. But for $50, I would much rather get a used 12v Craftsman or Masterforce off eBay with much better features and proven durability. There are tools and there are toys. My honest assessment is, this quality of this drill seems more "hobby" quality than serious workhorse.

Powerful, easy to hold, perfect for drilling, but a most useful tool for cutting metal. The cutting tool works much faster and provides a cleaner cut than tin snips. The lithium, rechargeable battery holds enough power for projects that take a little longer.

The drill is not of high quality and will run out of battery fast. However for small Jobs it does work well. It will work to cut metal and small things. Note that this is a kit and not made for drilling or using other bits for other purposes. It will start to smoke and destroy the drill.

This SainSmart 12V Max Cordless Drill/Driver Kit, 3/8" Keyless All-Metal Chuck is a great deal for the drill and battery combined. Everything is light and powerful enough to cut through steel flashing with ease. Comes with a simple barrel plug charger and holds a good days work for me as I seldom need it for more than an hour. Easy to use and works better than snips. Great price for this and I expect it to work well for a long time.

This is a compact driver that was exactly what I needed to avoid changing buts constantly. I haven't used the cutting attachment yet but I like the tool itself. It comes at least partially charged so you can try it right away. Which I appreciated.Recommend!

This drill has a lot of power and plenty of bits to choose from to get any job done. The battery lasted a very long time in addition
