Every clamp screw stripped the nut thread upon tightening. It's made of something very soft like pot metal or aluminum alloy. The lockdown screws are steel, and they just chewed up the weaker metal.

The threads strip out quick and easy without much pressure at all. It was locked and unlocked twice and on the 3rd time the threads stripped out on the middle locker

First off these are made of cast metal. Probably some zinc alloy. If you crank down on the Allen screws they will strip. I’ve owned original German made Floyd’s that were steel and this stuff is no where near as durable. Of course that’s why they are so much cheaper. They also mount from the front with wood screws, not from the back so be aware of that. They will serve the purpose. Just don’t crank on them.

the machine screws stripped out the threads that lock the strings into place rendering the whole installation of my part useless. i have been a Luthier since 2005 and haven't had any trouble installing these kinds of parts..i guess you get what you pay for.

I used this for a replacement, but it was not the exact size of the neck. Off by a couple mm. Measure first 😅

All good minus the included screws. They’re pot metal and will snap in half.
