Ordered these for my daughter to use with her Saxophone since we live in an area that typically gets a lot of rain in fall and winter. This will keep her from going through reeds so fast since they play outdoors a lot.

I bought these reeds a couple months ago, as I wanted to start using plastic reeds, but they never came in the mail. My music said that those reeds weren’t a very good choice as they weren’t very high quality and instead recommended to me a légère reed.

Theses reeds are very thick and they are not groud to a size.I started grinding (lapping) and getting some sound.If you don't know how to grind them they are not for you.
