The screen on my Acer Predator Helios 300 started dropping out randomly. Sometimes it would just go black and other times it would send multicolored lines vertically across the screen. When it would happen i would have to close the laptop and wait a moment before reopening. Sometimes it would bring the screen back on the first try and others I would have to repeat closing the laptop several times. Screencasting to another monitor would bypass this issue. So I figured it was a hardware issue. I ordered this replacement screen and the first one I got had an Amazon return label inside the box. The tape around the box looked like it had been opened before. Apparently someone else had already returned this particular screen once before. I wasn't about to take a chance on that, so I contacted Amazon to return it myself. I was given the option to get a replacement instead of a refund and I accepted. The second one had undisturbed tape and no return label inside. It came wrapped in bubble wrap and had a set of tools for installation. It also had 4 strips of adhesive to secure the new screen inside the laptop. Replacement was straightforward with the help of a few YouTube videos. The new screen worked perfectly. No bleed around the edges or light patches. As of the time of the writing of this review it has been a few days post install. I have not had random drop outs of my screen.

The screen works great although there is a minor bleeding on left corner when you start up, it disappears once your display is one. Loved the kit and packaging how it arrived

Comes with the basic tools to pop your old lcd out and includes adhesive pads for the new one. You may still need a hair dryer or heat gun to remove the glue on the old one.

Easy to replace with tools and tape provided. only need a decent hair dryer and a little patience. Looks the exact same as the OEM. Thank you!!
