The screen works, but wasn't compatible (HID compliant) with my HP dw3035cl laptop as a touchscreen. I originally spoke to both Amazon and manufacturer tech support and the original assessment was that the screen that I received was defective, and to request a replacement. The replacement also didn't work. When I again spoke to tech support with the manufacturer, I was told that they encounter this issue often on laptops. When they plug it into their 'testing device', not a laptop, that is works. At times, when customers plug it into their laptops, it doesn't work.The reason that I gave them two stars, that while tech support was polite and as helpful as they could be, their 'touchscreen' hardware is in fact, not a touchscreen. They shouldn't be able to market this as a touchscreen. It is misleading, and they know it.I ordered a new screen from LCDBros using the same original HP touchscreen part number, and it worked. In the end, if you are looking for a touchscreen for your laptop, there is a good chance that this will not work as a touchscreen.

This replacement screen works great and easy to install. So far the screen looks great and the touchscreen works without issues. The screen was well packaged from the seller. If this is the replacement for your broken screen I would recommend getting this replacement.

I bought this screen for my touchscreen Hp laptop that had been broken for some months. Everything fit perfectly and the repair was smooth. I watched a few YouTube videos and fixed my own laptop in the comfort of my home. It’s been weeks since I switched out my old screen with the new and I haven’t had any problems. The touchscreen works smooth just like it did when I first purchased my laptop.

The hardest aspect of replacing the screen was patiently removing the original screens double sided adhesive strip[s]. With that being said total removal time couldn’t have been more than 5 minutes. Install was as simple as connecting one 40 pin connector and carefully reinstalling the original front wrap around black trim piece. Two minutes max. Everything you need is included - full screen set up and even a little set of tools all for a little more than $100. Last computer I owned was a brand new Mac Book Pro that ended up needing a new screen less than a year into owning it. Screen alone was over $500. Just adding that in for context and maybe because I’m a little bitter still 🤷🏻♂️😂
