Great screen, tools seem useful but I have a bigger set I used. Double-sided tape was invaluable. Had to uninstall to secure the connection behind the display, but that was my fault and the screen held up great. It works and looks great. Used for 14-dq1043cl

- All tools are included for install, including tape Not too difficult on this series of laptops- Available in matte!! I hated my old glossy screen- Pretty bright- Good contrast and decent black level- ****Works on similar HP models (I have a 14-dq2088wm) if it has the proper display cable - this can be cross referenced on the HP parts website. Used this to upgrade my terrible stock 720p screen to 1080p IPS- Note: Broke my old LCD panel upon removal from double sided tape. If you want to save your old panel DO NOT PRY. Only pull the tape from behind the panel slowly with tweezers or something. Oh well, nothing to do with this product!

Very pleased with the results.There are numerous videos on YouTube that show how to replace the display. As others have mentioned, you will need 5mm double sided tape that is not included with thisdisplay.

Fantastic after sale service. I dropped my laptop and needed a panel. This panel didn't work out of the box but that was because of the cable and not the screen.These guys were prompt, friendly, and super knowledgeable. I have had better support with them than with Asus when my g14 zephyrus wouldn't use the Nvidia rtx 3060.Don't hesitate, and make sure you try an edp cable if it doesn't initially work. Most manufacturers have parts catalogs on line, just search on their site for cables, internal (HP parts category)

Needed an inexpensive monitor replacement for an HP laptop. Very easy install especially with the tools that are provided. You will need 5mm double sided tape to complete the install. Display quality is quite good; might even be better than the original monitor. Would highly recommend.

Delivery was quoted at 7-10 days, came in 2 days (go figure).The screen works just fine and is a perfect fit. The white level is not quite as good as the factory screen, nor is quite as bright (I have 2 laptops so can easily compare). But it is just fine. I have no complaints.I ONLY wish I had bought the screen before taking apart my old one, i for sure could have used the tools. Taking laptops apart requires a bit of skill and a bit of bravery. It's amazing how thin and fragile everything is!I would recommend this replacement screen, salvaged the laptop my 11 year old "dropped" for schooling at home.

Was SUPER skeptical about trying to fix a broken laptop screen myself. Screen was very economical, arrived in super great packaging, arrived EARLY, and only took my husband 30 minutes to replace.
