The screen 1st arrived damaged, clearly occurring in the shipping process because the box had a dent directly over the damaged area of the screen. The return was easy and painless, and the replacement arrived quickly. The install was smooth, took about 20 minutes total. After two weeks it is still working flawlessly. Great buy!

Great product. Tools provided made install easy.****update**** started to show two small green dots on the screen, size of pencil head. Noticeable but wife doesn’t mind as much as I do.

No, not the popular 90s rave music from the UK, I'm talking about Prodigy the online math tutor which tricks kids into learning by masquerading as a video game. During lockdown, after a multi-hour Prodigy session, my kid experienced intense rage at losing a battle, punched the screen of the laptop which we borrowed from the office for homeschool, and smashed it. His claim of innocence was undermined by both his poor acting skills and his older brother ratting him out immediately. I sent both kids to their rooms, the older one claimed this was unfair, but nobody likes a tattle tail.The price quoted to me at the computer store was ridiculous, the laptop wasn't worth that much. Whatever, I thought I'd just fix it myself and show the greasy fool behind the counter at Staples that installing anti-virus software and swapping ram boards doesn't make him Bill Gates.Item came well packaged, instructions on youtube were easy to follow, product was installed in a couple of minutes, literally, using tools included with the screen. Anyone could do the replacement, super easy, no screws or anything. Product looks and performs exactly like the original.I told my kid if he smashes the screen again I'm going to smash his Nintendo, so far he has controlled his Prodigy rage.

Was easy to install. If you are taking an original screen out, the double sided tape in the inside is a pain.
