I took care of this for a friend and removed cracked screen. I remove the packing of the screen which was in USPS packing in a box. I remove old adhesive and pre to install replacement screen. I connected the 30 pin connectors and see it screen very faintly. Tried to brightness and nothing. Connected HDMI to external monitor to check the settings and all are maxed on brightness and power management as well. Told friends to put a message about this and wasn’t sure how to.
