Simple basic planer... I run planers off of separate line with release to main line. Planer line is on hand line reel. Lower planer to desired depth, figure 8 the line to a cleat. This method is a little more work than electric down rigger but eliminates hip knocker riggers and 12 lb. rigger weights in cockpit.

I guess I should have read the reviews and the questions. I only received one #5. Faults advertising. Why has Amazon let this go on for so long. The fist complaint was Aug 2018
