Love it. It powers through our spicing requirements in our kitchen with ease. It’s also got the larger capacity that we were looking for.Making garam masala is a breeze now and with the added benefit that having a wet and dry vessel makes sure that we can keep things from getting contaminated.Small, powerful and versatile. Superb!

I have an indoor hydroponics system, which means I can grow some of my favorite herbs year-round. This also means I usually end up with more than I am able to use, and you can only put so much basil and oregano into things. To solve this, I ended up dehydrating my extra herbs, which means I needed a herb grinder to process them.So when this first arrived, I dug it out, and overall I was happy with the build quality and design. There are definitely much better-looking coffee grinders out there, so if you are looking for a visually pleasing one you can leave out on the counter, this may not be the top choice, but it's also not hideously ugly either. The unit comes with two bowls, one for coffee and one for herbs and spices. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I tested the other one first. Here is the most important rule with using this grinder: always put the lid on the bowl before you start grinding. Well, that is unless you like making a heck of a mess. In my haste to use it, I didn't pay attention and chucked my herbs in, plopped it on the base, pushed the top down, and started grinding. Almost immediately, it pulverized the herbs inside and then shot them up over the side of the bowl and all over the machine. Taking the top off only added to the problems, and I ended up with dill covering my entire kitchen. So, perhaps a feature that doesn't allow it to grind unless that lid is installed would be a great recommendation. And on a side note, there’s a reason they don't sell dill-scented air fresheners. So mistake aside, how did it work? Once the lid was on, it did a pretty decent job of breaking everything down. When I tried it on coffee, it worked just as well, though I did notice it struggled a bit as it got more fine, so there is a bit of a concern that the motor is slightly underpowered. That said, I'm happy with this grinder, and so far, it's done a good job of grinding up what I need. The dual cups make it convenient, and you don’t have to worry about your herbs tasting like coffee. But before you use it, make sure the lid is on.WHAT I LIKED:• 2 bowls is convenient• Easy to use• Decent lookingWHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:• Wish there was a safety feature that stopped you from using it without a lid• Motor sometimes struggledNOTE:In case you missed it, make sure the lid is on before you grind anything.

This a compact and powerful grinder with multiple uses. With its dual stainless steel bowls that are good for both dry and wet grinding, this grinder has become my go-to option and my most used kitchen appliance. I like to grind my own spices and mix them to create different types of seasoning and rubs, and his grinder has made the spice grinding process so convenient and efficient. The design of the Secura grinder is both sleek and functional and its compact size makes it easy to store without taking up too much space. The dual stainless steel bowls are a standout feature of this grinder, allowing me to grind both wet and dry ingredients without needing to clean the grinder in between. This has been particularly useful when I want to prepare spices for a curry and then quickly switch to grinding coffee beans for my morning brew. The grinder is easy to operate and does not have power or speed control buttons. The convenient one-touch operation makes it user-friendly, even for beginners. All it requires is a slight push down of the top cover which activates the blades, and I can easily control the grind time based on how fine I want my spices. The dry grinding performance is fantastic and I have tried a variety of different spices and the results have been fantastic. It handled tougher spices like cloves, cinnamon sticks and peppercorns very well, transforming them into a fine powder in a matter of seconds. Similarly, when grinding wet ingredients such as fresh herbs or chilli pastes, it achieved a smooth paste without any lumps. The jars are easy to clean as they are made of stainless steel, I can rinse them with water for a thorough clean or wide-down with dry cloth. Overall, this compact grinder is an efficient and valuable kitchen tool that enhances the grinding process and makes cooking more enjoyable.

I decided to get this product since I came across the need to grind coffee for my moka pot and didn’t realize I didn’t have a grinder anymore. I’m normally using an automatic espresso machine, so I use whole beans and it does the job.Included in the packaging is the grinder base, two bowls with integrated blades, a plastic cap for the bowls, a transparent lid that covers the grinder top and a user guide. Compared to other grinder, like a magic bullet for example, the blades are integrated in the bottom of the bowl, which makes it very easy to remove and put back if the coffee is not fine enough. Same thing if you want to keep it stored somewhere temporarily, the lid fits directly on the bowl. One of the bowls has 2 blades and is suitable for dry ingredients and the other has 4 blades for wet ingredients like garlic and vegetables. It is very easy to use. Simply put the adequate bowl and lock it into the grinder base, put what you need to grind inside the bowl, put the bowl lid and finish with the transparent lid. Press down on the transparent lid and it will start grinding. Stop pressing if you want the grinding to stop. That’s it! I’ve put a couple of pictures showing how much the coffee was grinded after 5, 10, 15 and 20 seconds. It is pretty much like what the product picture shows.Something I really like about the product is how low the blades are in the bowl. Often, depending on the grinder, they will be a bit too high and not grind correctly or take more time. In this case, nothing is left behind. The only con depending on the use case is that the bowls are on the smaller side. They are big enough for coffee and spices, but for vegetables, it could be a bit small. All in all, it works really well and I really recommend it. It’s one of the best I’ve used so far.
