Works really well I’ve tried several other types of anchors to hold my curtain rods and they keep pulling out of wall. These are holding beautifully.

AXK Drywall Anchors – First Impressions & ThoughtsI recently picked up a pack of AXK wallboard anchors, and I’ve gotta say—I’m impressed. Compared to the zinc screw-in anchors I’ve been using for years, these feel like a serious upgrade in a few key ways.First off, they’re super easy to install. Just tap them into the wall with a hammer—no drilling or screwing just to set the anchor itself. That alone saves time and effort. Plus, they feel solid once in place, and I don’t have to worry about over-torquing the screw and stripping the anchor. That’s a huge bonus, especially when it means not being left with a big hole to patch. So far, I’ve only used them for lightweight mounting tasks, and they’ve held up really well. I haven’t tried removing them yet, so I’ll have to report back on how cleanly they come out.One thing I do wish AXK would include is some clear guidance on load capacity—how much weight can these actually handle? That’s something I’d love to test out, maybe even put together a comparison video between these and the zinc anchors. Could be a fun and useful project for anyone looking to upgrade their wall mounting game.In short: These are staying in my toolbox. They’re quick, clean, and so far, very reliable.

This is the first time I used this type of anchors, and I have tried just about every type of drywall anchors in my life and pretty much settled on the self-drilling type of anchors for the past couple decades as I thought they were the easiest and strongest, that is until I tried these. This reduced the install time to half as I no longer need to tap the tip in with a hammer and then screw the rest of the anchor in with a screwdriver. With this anchor, just hammer it in, it only creates a thin sliver of a cut that is easy to patch if you made a mistake or changed your mind, unlike a big 1/4" hole with the self-drilling type. The holding strength is also as good as any other style of similar sized anchors, this kit offers 2 sizes that should be sufficient for most home hanging projects. For heavier mirrors, I used 2 just in case, and it feels rock solid on the wall. If you are looking for drywall anchors, try this, no need to waste your money on any other styles.

Este producto es una maravilla, los tornillos quedan muy fuerte y pueden cagar bastante peso. Me encantó.

Only used a couple so far to hang up a fire extinguisher. Definitely better than the typical plastic ones.
