Unlike some other calipers it doesn't do interior measurements or depth measurements (which would increase the cost of manufacture significantly). Also, it is not made of stainless steel so you have to keep it oiled/greased to avoid rusting, which means it has to be cleaned with acetone thoroughly before being used for woodworking. For what it is, it works fine and it does not cost much.
