Provides reasonably accurate temperature readings. Easy to wire wit the included wiring. I used this with ESPHome which makes it a snap to setup and use. Good value for this price.

This is a well built sensor, the pins fit in a typical breadboard and can use typical bread-boarding wires. It is simple to hookup and can be used in any home automation system.You will need a small pull-down resistor as you can see in my photo. The second photo show my home automation system connected to the sensor in my computer room.I have not physically tried to check accuracy as I do not have anything precise enough to test. But the sensor does seem to report within a few degrees of others around the house. Since I have several I average them.Not bad for the price. Definitely will get a few more.

This sturdy sensor includes the circuit board (module) with an integrated resistor as well as 3 jumper cables. If you’re connecting to a raspberry pi with the integrated GPIO pins, this is a 1-stop item and you’re all set. All soldering is sturdy and the part is able to withstand normal use and setup without issues. The soldered pins through the board are not cut evenly (1 pin from LED is longer than another on the back of the board), hopefully this is not a sign of manufacturing error tolerance.Look at the pin labels closely when you setup your board - some modules and documentation have the ground, vcc, and data in a different order.

I couldn't get this sensor to work at either 3V or 5V. Power LED was illuminating, but there was no signal on the data out pin.
