Instructions were easy to follow. It molds easily and seems to have decent airflow.After a few attempts though, I have to agree with the reviews about it being too small. One review I read wrote that you just need to bite down hard, but that still didn't help me get a comfortable fit.

Don't listen to how it is small and hard to mold. The guard will be 30% bigger after putting in near to boiling water for 1 min. The guard even stays on when talking minimally, with only the upper jaw on.The key to it is to basically wash your mouth, cooling it, when you have just finished molding it but still have it on. And BITE HARD.It stays on very well without any discomforts and have great ventilation that minimally distracts normal breathing. As for protrection, I have not taken any hard shots with this on recently so we will see. But it does feel like a lot of gel and rubber, although not to the uncomfortable extent.

The mouth guard seems to be of good quality but it is extremely narrow. I ordered the child one first finding it not to fit so I then ordered the adult size. It still did not fit my molars. I am disappointed it wouldn't fit because it seems so be wonderful otherwise.

Preparation and fitting was very easy. Unfortunately, mouth piece feels a little small in my mouth. I have tried several times to use mouth piece, but it feels like I am wearing braces. The mouth piece is very good quality just too small for me.

I can't tell you this Shock Doctor saved my mouth one time, or that it'll prevent any and all possible damage from happening to your teeth. What I can tell you is that after having extremely expensive dental work done, the Shock Doctor Adult Nano Double Fight was the least I could do to protect myself. For that it's well worth the money.The idea behind the Shock Doctor is that the memory plastic inside the lining can be shaped and will hold that shape. It creates a cushion for your teeth that's custom-fit to your mouth. They call these "boil & bite" mouthguards but really you want to use not-quite-boiling water. Follow the very well written instructions that came with it and you should be just fine. My new porcelain veneers didn't feel very comfortable in my mouth and I was worried the Shock Doctor wouldn't set right or would hurt. It set just fine, and on those rare occasions my free-sparring needs protection, the Double Fight is comfortable and protects both my upper and lower teeth while still making it fairly easy to breathe.

When i was searching for mouthguard I was impressed with the video presentation Of Shock Doctor mouthguard..However, as an amateur boxer I was surpriced when I receive the item because the outside line of the mouthguard is so hard that you could easily hurt your lips from the inside with a small straight punch.This mouthruard are not the most comfortable mouthguard as well in my 12 year boxing experience so unfortunately I wouldn't suggest it to anyone for the reasons I wrote above.There is even no holder for the mouthguard(!) whichake me feel a kind pf surprise as all my previus mouthguards has a holder, and thanks to my previus mouyhguard I had my one holder to pit the Shock Doctor in and take it to the gym to train...Anyway, I put it only once and I dont think that I will put it again.Only one good thing is the inside, I like the way it feels-safe,but the outside is dangerous for lips.
