It does what its supposed. Compatible with Xbox Series X that I tested on. Make sure you do your research and select the right 2230 drive for it. It does not include the actual storage drive itself. Just the case.

Had to return. Didn't work. Did have a properly formatted SSD. I dont think it's their fault though. I'm sure Microsoft doesn't want these being used and fazed them out with an update.

IS NOT SUPPORTED ANYMORE. Will not work after new update. Unfortunately Microsoft is soooooo greedy that they blocked the use of non Microsoft endorsed expansion cards. Nothing you can do to make this thing work.

I have a new WD 1Tb 2230 drive, formatted ExFAT with Master Boot Record. Mounts fine on my Mac. Put it in this enclosure and plug it into my X Box Series S and I get an error that it's not supported. Will be returning for a refund.

I had a spare 1TB CH SN530 SSD and I used this enclosure for my XSX. It works great, just like the official version. From my testing only the CH SN530 works, I tried a different nvme and it did not read it.

I took an SSD hard drive out of an existing Xbox series x thinking I would not need the adapter is the same format nope will not work that's an extra $30 you will spend

This is a scam and I don’t recommend, I plugged it into my console and nothing showed up, if you are going to buy a expansion card just go to game stop and get the actual one it’s the more expensive route but it’s also the safer.
