This is a very sturdy, useable shelf, with decent hardware, but I think it's too expensive, and should be sanded better.I have no quibble, at all, with the hardware used on this shelf. It's very substantial. The size is good. Install is easy. But the planking should have have been sanded better. I'm also fine with it being unfinished because a lot of us prefer to do that ourselves.I do think the price point should be around $65 or $70, with shipping.4 stars.

I think it is a quick solution for hanging some stuff up and having a small shelf but not sure about the cost. Lowes sells 2x8x4 for about 10$. Then there are two heavy duty brackets with side hooks and the front hangars that can be much. Someone did have to mount the hangars and pack this for shipping. I was able to mount by myself but would recommend having two people to mount this. It is only a 8” deep shelf so snowboards and small totes will fit up there. I’m using it for odd ball electronic components. Easy shelf but expensive for what it is.

I was a bit shocked when I opened the package. The wood was a piece of unfinished lumbar that was crushed on the corner which I could have picked up at Lowes or Home depot for $5 and it had an ordinary hooks screwed in. The metal pieces where sturdy. I guess I was expecting something that was more finished, not something a middle school student can make during shop class.

First and foremost, the wood - it is poorly finished pine, the kind you would find at any lumber store. ITo be honest, at the pricepoint I would expect the wood to be finished. It doesn't really fit the bracket either and that just irks me, I like a nice snug fit on things and the 1/2" gap at the back of it is almost as annoying as the 1/4" lip at the front face of the shelf where it meets the bracket. That said, I can regroup and tell myself "It's rustic", and it will look great in my imaginary cabin in the woods where I do all my skiing and snowboarding. The metal brackets are extremely durable and over sized for what they are intended to do, so two points for that choice, but the weld joints are kind of sloppy and unattractive. Maybe that's all part of that rustic cabin look too. I've posted some photos to give a better idea of the product finish level. Also, maybe it was just on my order, but I did not get the screws with the package as described. I'm kind of okay with that, as I've got plenty of screws to work with, but if you're not that person, well it's an extra trip to the hardware store. I was going to put this near my front door, but I think it's much suitable for the shed when I can make some space for it.

This thing is sturdy and solid and includes really secure hardware to mount it to the wall. The quality of the wood actually impressed me, this is not your run of the mill pressed sawdust that you so often see at the stores. It's a solid piece of wood that can definitely hold some weight. It comes with several types of hooks and attachments that are versatile enough to be useful for a variety of items.That said, the board itself is plain and unfinished, which is not a problem, because it was clear in the description. I just felt the need to point that out again, because given that fact the aesthetics might not be what you're going for. I also wouldn't hang my skis on it as pictured, and it lacks the true ski hanging hardware, but that is a matter of personal preference. You can easily stack the skis on top of the board itself and use the hooks for all the accompanying ski equipment.All in all, this is a very versatile board with hooks that can be used to store a lot of different items and is great for space saving

This is a solid rack and hook system. The wood is great quality. came “unfinished” as advertised which is the look I was wanting. Where I’m most impressed is the quality of the build of the steel mounting brackets and hooks. Very thick solid steel with a high quality coating on it. Will hold up well with any equipment we hang from it. It is advertised for snowboards and skis which I’m sure it would work perfectly for but I’m currently using it in a studio that we have for my son's karate gear and to shelf their skimboard. Works perfectly for it and looks clean and professional. I also really liked how the length of the shelf was designed perfectly so the brackets mount up exactly in line with the wall studs so I only had to think about how high I wanted it to go, measured once and installed. Super easy process and came with all the screws and parts I’d need for mounting. Great quality product I highly recommend.
