Have had thes installed for roughly 3 months and 2200 miles. Shocks have been bouncy for the last month and I have lived with it. Today they started to make noise. Do not buy, put the money towards the purchase of a good shock!

My mechanic says these are junk but I don't see why because they seem to work fine on my Hummer H3. The only thing I noticed when I installed them was the old shocks were hard to compress by hand and would extend out on their own and the new ones were just slightly difficult to compress by hand and it doesn't extend on it's own.

Make sure you get the right labeled product in the box because I didn't. The box says B8529 but the shock is marked B8558CS. I called Skyjacker customer service and they told me that the shocks in the box won't work.This is a big issue that I've been experiencing within Amazon lately with wrong items and it's getting really annoying. All these return shipping end up being charged to us in our yearly membership and keeps driving the price up.
