Tomando en cuenta que es un controlador económico (no el más), para mí pequeño proyecto se ve bastante bien y funciona. Mi única crítica es que navegar en el menú para modificar parámetros es complicado.

11/4/23 - Update: looks like this thing totally died. Just reversed back to an older controller who immediately started charging the LiFePO4 battery. So... now we know.We got this one (30A) to replace a lower amperage (10A) Renogy. So far, it has been running for about a week and keeps the LifePO4 battery in top shape. one issue I am having with it is the low reading of the display as there is no backlight, otherwise it is a great product!

Wow, connections are so micro NO solar wire will connect to them! Shocked that anyone would build and try to sell this - screen is so small as well with NO description of what you are looking at. This might work with a miniature solar panel, but NOT normal one.

This exceeded my expectations quite a bit. I've been running a fairly cheap 30A solar charger with a lead acid battery for a few years now. After toting an extra 10lbs around with the lead acid battery, I decided to give a LifePo4 battery a chance, but I needed a decent solar controller. I chose this one and I'm glad I did, as it has been awesome so far.MUCH easier to set up than others out there, as they include an adequate instruction manual that doesn't sound like two Chinese people had a Japanese translator write it in English.I had it set up in less than five minutes and can't figure out why I waited so long to go with a LifePo4... The battery is literally two pounds, and it is incredible the difference in weight for better performance.

I purchased this unit after I first purchased a 10 amp Renogy Wanderer that failed to work. I decided it was time to upgrade my travel trailer to Lithium Iron Phosphate and so I purchased the Renogy solar controller for my 100 watt system. I charged the Lithium battery using a 110 VAC charger specifically for Lithium batteries prior to leaving on a camping trip. Unfortunately, after 3 days, the battery was almost dead. Fortunately, I have a 2000 watt inverter that I use for my microwave and was able to charge the battery daily for the rest of the trip. When I got home, I immediately contacted Renogy, but it took so much time for them to act that I purchased this Bateria Power Solar Controller. I was going on another camping trip and couldn't wait for Renogy to decide what to do. I informed the tech representative that I had purchased this unit and it worked fine. Only then did Renogy decide to send me a replacement unit. Fortunately, I have another use for the Renogy replacement. By the way, I did connect the replacement Renogy Wanderer that the company sent and it worked fine.

I got this to charge a new LiFePO4 battery for a solar-sourced 10' LED strip in my shed. I have a solar panel on the roof, this charge controller, the battery, and a motion sensor so when I walk into the shed the light automatically comes on and 5 minutes later it goes back off. That saves me the grief of forgetting to turn off a switch and ruining a battery. I only go into the shed occasionally so this is a great setup.Originally I had a lead-acid (SLA) battery in the mix and bought an inexpensive charge controller that only charges those type of batteries. My SLA battery died after 18 months and decided to try LiFePO4 instead as it advertises a much longer life, but I needed to replace the charge controller as well. This was the least-expensive one that had the control features I wanted.Installation was simple - I simply unplugged the leads from the old controller and plugged them into the new one. I first plugged in the battery and with a couple of presses of the one control button I had it set for LiFePO4. Then I plugged in the other two as directed by the simple-to-read instructions.PROS- Compact. IT's only 3x4 inches, and about 3/4" inch thick. Four screw holes make for simple mounting.- Very simple interface.- User guide is easy to follow, unlike many of this type of device. It was simple to set up for my lithium battery.- Easy-to-read LCD screen.- Came with six spade terminals. I didn't need to use all of them so now they're handy spares in my electrical toolkit.CONS- None found so far.I'll follow up in a year with a longevity report.Recommended.Notes on the setup, for those who care:I connected the + and - battery leads directly to the controller, then set the controller for the battery type.I connected the + and - solar panel leads directly to the controller.I combined the - leads of the and the motion detector on one spade lug and connected to the - "load" port of the controller.I attached the + of the LED strip to the "source" + lead from the motion detector, and the + "load" lead from the motion detector to the + "load" port of the controller. This forms a switch circuit with the motion detector providing the switching when it detects motion. The solar panel charges the battery through the controller, and the controller controls whether the panel or the battery provides electricity to the motion detector and thus the LED strip.I have an 8Ah LiFePO4 battery in the box behind the controller. Since I'm only ever in the shed a few minutes at a time, this is sufficient to provide plenty of light when I need it, and I never have to worry about a manual switch.

If space is an issue, this is great, it is tiny. Despite a 6 space connector bar that is only a couple of inches long I could use 12 ga wiring which was necessary for strength as opposed to capacity. The screen is 1.25 x .75 inches so again....tiny. The biggest negative is no way to tell the voltage of the solar panel which seems a necessity and not being able to tell the voltage from the controller to the battery which is necessary to see if the controller is even working properly , the only voltage is the state of charge of the battery ...so yes, you can tell if it is fully charged but you can't tell what stage of charge you are on.So, okay for a cheap unit but severely lacking basics imho.
