Put this on a 09 lx-s. Fit perfectly with no issues. Has a nice deep sound that doesn’t sound “Ricey” at all. Also has crackle sounds at higher rpms. Is absolutely amazing and I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their exhaust.

Exhaust took me a couple of hours to install. I would recommend owning a couple of rachets. in my case, I needed a 14 & 12 MM but also open-end wrenches for the opposite side on install. At first, I listened to the exhaust with the silencer on. I was actually amazed at how loud it was already. Then the next day I took it off and after driving about 200 feet I noticed my car was backfiring in neutral as I revved. In drive, it would full-on pop and crackle on decel as well. For a sub $200 exhaust I would strongly recommend this exhaust. It does not sound "rice" or "Squeaky" like most cheap exhausts. It has a very deep tone that opens up nicely when in the higher rev range. It's turned a lot of heads and I've got tons of thumbs ups from it.

It's a fantastic catback exhaust kit for the price, and fits good after fabrication... It required 5-6 hours of fabrication to make it direct fit like how it's supposed to come already. Now that it's on my car it's great, and I'll never ever take it off. Sound is great, and very happy with the sound and performance increases!

Update:: modified the silencer insert with 2.5" piping and its the perfect blend of the sound and volume I'm looking for, without near as much obnoxious rasp!Sounds great! Not as raspy as most Honda's haha. Easy install, came with everything it was supposed to and shipped in a relatively quick time! Only issue was the hangers being welded on a bit squish. They lined up enough to work with some elbow grease but were not perfect! Overall great value for the price!

Love the exhaust, has a deep tone to it rather than all high pitched, only thing was my muffler had dents in it when received and after now almost a year of having the exhaust the gaskets are starting to leak.

My first ever review. I tried putting it off for months. Spec-D gives you the parts to start setting up a low quality exhaust system. What they don't tell you is that you will need to be prepaired to spend a lot more than you paid to actually get it to work. First I had to pay a muffler shop just about $200 to modify and install the exhaust using one of their pipes because the one that came with the package was too long for my 09 Honda Civic Si. Right off the bat, dissapointed but i said hey what the hell- the sound is pretty cool, nasaly, but loud, and it was such a low price so i'm just going to deal with it. That was not until less than 3 months later when the muffler starts to fall apart. It started with a minor rattling sound which days later became a full blown crashing rattle, that if you're a car guy, it almost stops your heart hearing it. It's really an embarrassing outcome. Turns out the muffler was litterally falling apart at the tip (see photo). It naturally cracked about a centimeter and a half. I had to take it in and paid $167.63 (i know this bill exactly cause it was two days ago) for a new muffler and labor. All in all, i have spent just over $350 on repairs for a system that has never functioned as purchased. I even thought giving it a two star rating was generous.

Perfect sound... not too loud, but not too soft. it has a little bit of a drone at some RPM's, but its not bad, because it has a deep tone - not 'buzzy' at all. The sound changes a little (for the better) once it warms up. it'll get some nice popping sounds going on when you downshift too. after 4 months, rust is very minimal, so i don't doubt that it will hold up well.I ended up installing this on a coupe - it will fit, but it rattles against the heat shield. i thought about just using the tailpipe section, but the flanges between sections are different than OEM, so you have to swap all or none. i ended up having two inches cut from the midpipe and re-welded to make it fit. i had a friend do it for free, so i don't know what a shop would charge. just an FYI.

I got these to replace my stock muffler on my 2006 Civic LX 4-door sedan when they rusted out. It's way cheaper than replacing them with stock mufflers, and since I like to autocross occasionally I was able to enjoy a small performance boost. Installation was easy, after I spent hours getting the stock setup off that is. Rust is a pain. These are stainless steel, so that should help prevent having to go through that ever again. Also, FYI, the stock tri-bolt flange that the long straight pipe connects to has welded-in studs. You will have to grind these off and drill out the remainder. This will likely be torturous. You have been warned. Or you could buy a new downpipe to supplement this system. This system does not include what I've seen others refer to as the downpipe, which is the first pipe after the catalytic convertor and runs the length of the engine and hooks over the front axle. This system is only from the front axle back.I kept the silencer in because I'm not a teenager and I don't live in my parent's basement. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being the stock exhaust and 10 being a rusted out muffler that no longer works, the volume of these range from about a 2 to a 6 with the silencer in, depending on how hard you give it gas. I momentarily listened the the exhaust with the silencer out, and I would say it was closer to a 5 to 9 range. This is just an arbitrary assessment, I didn't measure the volume levels. The large, mirror finish exhaust tip does seem a little out of place on a very standard looking and unwashed Civic. I painted the silencer insert black to help reduce the contrast. I may paint some more of it to hide the muffler canister some. When taking off in first, there is enough vibration that some part of the exhaust is rattling against one of the heat shields, I think. I'll have to get back under it to verify and adjust. Luckily the heat shields are thin aluminum, so they are easy to push back. UPDATE: I got under, and the connection between the straight section and the resonator was hitting the heat shield. I used some tin snips to cut away at the shield a bit (very easy) and haven't had any rattle since.Overall, I'm pleased with the fit and the installation. This kit does come with all bolts and gaskets needed. It does not come with rubber hangers - you'll need to keep your originals. I do feel a little silly about the look, but then I look at my bank account and remember how much I saved over OE replacements.10/28/2016 UPDATE:Well, I'm much less impressed now. While the tubing is stainless steel, the welding is not and has rusted through. I no longer have a working muffler. See attached image. So this was a nice solution for a year at a cheap price, but this is where it fails - durability. Granted, I live in Cleveland and drive through a lot of salt and snow, but I think a weld should last more than a year. You can see how thin the sheet metal is, too.Actually, upon closer inspection, I'm not sure that it's a rust issue. I think it was just a bad weld. It looks to be a pretty clean separation, and it doesn't look like the weld bonded to the sheet steel very well. Little to no inclusion - that's welder-speak for it didn't melt well enough. So now I need to replace it, and I won't be buying this again.

Item came on time like it said it would and the install on it was simple. Took me and a buddy like 45 minutes with a jack and jack stands. I love how it sound to, extremely loud and has a mean back fire which I love. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it doesn't have the specd tuning emblem embedded in the exhaust tip but I can look past that. Great buy though over all thanks again.
