Most dealers / parts houses sell the evaporator with: O-rings, foam tape on the evaporator to keep it from rattling around in the case, and a foam seal where the lines go through the case. None of these items are reusable from the old part. This is just a bare bones aluminum evaporator and nothing else. Be prepared to add the price of an A/C O-ring set and a roll of mold resistant foam tape to the price of this. Luckily, I found them burried in my garage.The expansion valve on the 2nd gen Prius sits inside a passageway on the evaporator case and bolts to the evaporator. the mount for the expansion valve was welded on this evaporator a few degrees off. This made it more difficult to install the expansion valve and left it with two coners pressed into the passageway. While I wasn't happy with this, I've had fittment issues with even the more expensive aftermarket evaporators in the past.In conclusion, It was worth it to me for the price and quick shipping. The local part stores didn't have one in stock and it would have taken longer to get at 3 times the price. It's been about 2 problem free months since I installed it.
