  • Specifications: The four drill bits are 1/4 Inch (6.4mm), 5/16 Inch (8mm), 3/8 Inch (9.5mm), and 1/2 Inch (12.7mm) to meet the specific needs of different woodworking projects. The square hole bit adapter is suitable for bench drill presses and hand drill clamps with diameters of 38 to 55mm/1.5 to 2.2 inches. (Please note that it only works with bench drill, hand drill and jig, not all)
  • Material: The drill is made of excellent alloy steel, and the advanced heat treatment process greatly improves its hardness and toughness. Even in high-intensity, high-frequency operating scenarios, the drill maintains excellent cutting performance, prolongates service, reduces replacement frequency, and saves costs.
  • Features: The unique cutting Angle design not only improves the cutting efficiency, but also effectively reduces the heat generation during the cutting process to avoid burning or discoloration of the wood. The optimized spiral design can better guide the sawdust discharge, ensuring a smooth cutting process and adapting to the cutting needs of various wood and composite materials.
  • Product Usage: Designed for dowel joint and splicing processes, this square bit quickly cuts standard square holes, ensuring a perfect fit between each connecting part. The square hole design effectively improves the strength of the connection between the wood, making the final product more stable and long-lasting.
  • Application Scenario: The square-hole drill is suitable for a wide range of wood types, including softwood, hardwood, composite and plywood. Whether in the field of furniture manufacturing, construction engineering, craft production or woodworking restoration, we can provide excellent cutting results.

Suggestions for use:
In order to ensure the best cutting results, it is recommended to choose the right speed and feed pressure according to the type and hardness of the wood when using the square hole drill. For harder wood, the speed can be appropriately increased to ensure smooth cutting. At the same time, check the wear of the drill regularly and replace it in time to maintain the best work efficiency and effect.
Safety precautions:
Be sure to wear safety goggles and gloves when using, and watch out for splashes of wood chips.
Ensure that the drill is stable and fixed, avoid sliding or tilting during drilling, and ensure the accuracy of the hole position.
Do not force the drill into the wood to avoid damage to the drill or the workpiece to ensure safety.

This was worthless. The drill press stopped before any square hole was developed. Tried to advance the inner bit to grab hold and pull the outer bit thru. It made corner indentions before the press stopped advancing. This was done on pine.
