Bought 2 pads. Shipped from Office Depot with 33 feet of plastic pillow cushion. Overkill. Product same as expected and works well but packaging was not efficient, environmental or logical.

I can't resist giving the paper a five star rating even though I have not used it. I have no idea how well it performs. I received my order today. The paper is thin, but at the same time feels strong. I have no idea whether it will hold up while drawing or not. The color is typical of Vellum - an opaque milky grayish. I like the size. I bought the more squarish size to draw a floor plan of a house that my daughter bought to fix and sell. An L shaped ranch uses a lot of territory in a drawing. Standard 11 x 17 is wasteful, effectively being as useful as 11 by 11 paper. The 18 by 24 size gives me a bit more than three times as much usable space to play with. If you leave a more or less standard margin of an inch around the 11 goes to 9 and the 18 goes to 16 - 9 squared 81 sq. inches versus 16 squared 256 sq. in.This is my first experience with Vellum. As I recall in mechanical drawing in high school - six decades ago - we used white bond paper which was probably a bit larger than this vellum. When the rest of the new tools/toys arrive, well see how much I remember, if anything. LOL

This paper is a product that I really love to draw prints on it is high quality as usual & title block looks impressive. I have had drawing software & still much prefer pencil & table hand drawn plans I can do with this great paper.
