This is a multi-cat rescue, and there isn’t a cat here who doesn’t love dried catnip. I’ve purchased this bag a dozen times and always have to hide the bag so that the bag doesn’t get ripped open and spread all over the floor so kitties can roll in it. You can end a lot of hissing and fighting with one simple purchase. Every cat comes together over this: some eat it, some roll in it. This is certainly the way to world peace in a household full of cats! Buy two bags because it disappears fast.

I bought this to stuff into cat toys I was making. My cat loved it, it is catnip, duh. The scent though is a bit minty, which I liked and found to be a bit calming. Nice big zip-locking bag. Enough that I think I won't need more for a while as it is robust enough scent that a little goes a long ways.

Very disappointed. To much shrapnel, the stocks of the plant itself. Picture and advert doesn’t show anything but fluffy leafy material. Some stocks were almost as big as toothpicks. Also very dusty it was like it’s been swept up off of the floor. Too dangerous to sprinkle out for the cats. Unless I was going to put it in a food processor which was not what I wanted I could not use it. Returned the product, not as described, not safe to put out.

(With the owners' permission) I put a little catnip out each day for the neighbors' outdoor cats hoping that it'll make them too trippy and lazy to hunt the hummingbirds in our backyard. It's working! They LOVE the catnip. I once had 4 cats rolling around in the catnip together one day. It smells wonderful, is fresh, and is a large amount (relatively speaking, of course).

THIS STUFF WORKS! Great value! Watch your cats get high as a kite and roll around like goofballs!Try a little for your cat first to see if they like it or have and adverse reaction it, and not give anymore if they seem like they don’t like it.

Good: It turns out that a pound of catnip is a LOT of catnip. I'm not complaining, especially at this price. Mylar bag will keep it fresh for a long time, which is good because this will last for a long time.Bad: My cat is OK with it, but that's all. After a chew-and-roll in a few pinches of this stuff she's a bit mellow, a bit frisky and affectionate, but nothing like the serious buzz she gets from Cosmic and the like. I'm considering mixing a few ounces of Cosmic into this bag so she'll return to tear-around-the-house-then-sleep-for-ten-hours mode.Bottom line: OK quality at a better-than-average price. If your cat is anything short of a serious connoisseur, this will do him or her well. Four stars, mainly for the less-than-enthusiastic reception it gets at treat time.

My cats love this stuff. I have been using it to make my own catnip toys - I'm learning to crochet and sometimes something goes wrong so I just fold the mistake in half, fill it with stuffing and this catnip, and crochet it closed. If I'm feeling really generous I just sprinkle a great big handful on their scratching post. Is it a giant mess? Yes. But they love it!It's also so much cheaper to buy a giant bag than a few ounces at a time at the pet store. You don't realize how enormous a pound by weight is of a dried plant until you get the bag - I would say it's like receiving about a (mostly full, not stuffed) gallon baggie's worth of catnip. I would imagine it would also make a nice tea if you were so inclined, it's very fresh and green looking for being a dried herb.
