I would not purchase this shaft it’s not made properly and will not stay on the upper shaft because the pinch bolt does not line up with the slot on the shaft I’m a certified technician it went on my daughters car her boyfriend installed it and it fell of while driving I checked it out and found out it was not made properly but says it’s the right one for the car now it’s too late and I can’t get my money back

The retaining bolt position at the top is not equal to the OEM factory part. Once bolt was installed lose, the shaft could be slide off the column shaft. That is not how the OEM factory parts where designed. Do not recommend this part.

The part it self is great. Its alot eaiser to install because of the telescoping part. I gave it 3 stars because the rubber just fell apart when installing. Be very gentel.

The steering shaft itself seems to be good quality. It is a telescoping shaft (compared the solid OEM one), so it makes it very easy to install. Only reason for 4 stars is that the bolts did not seem to be very good quality... In order to slide this shaft on the steering column and the steering wheel splines, you have to remove the bolts completely from each end. Once removed and both sides slid into place, I tried to reinstall the bolts that come with the shaft... Because now the ends are under tension, when trying to reinstall the bolts to clamp the ends (very slow and carefully), the tension force was ripping the threads right off from the bolts. So I ended up reusing my original oem bolts (mine were in good condition), the went in with no problem.
