Step1: First, just put your food on a cutting board. Place the Cup Slicer above the food. Then push it down until all the food which is on the cutting board is pressed.
Step2: At last, put them above the grey push plate and use the grey push plate to help push all food enter the container so that food will not get stuck on the blade.
Step3: Pour your freshly sliced food into a dish, a fry pan or a bowl. And when you’re done using it, run it through the dishwasher and place the blade cover on it for safe storage.
Pay special attention not to cut food on the grey push plate directly at the beginning, as it may get stuck on the blade.

Blades cut right through the plastic base and now you are eating pieces of plastic along with your chopped veggiesEven if there wasn’t the above issue, it takes so much time to align it just right, that it is easier to cut by knife. Besides they have to be cut by knife to quarter pieces anyway for them to fit into it.

The blade doesn't lock on very well, so if there is too much in the cup it will fall off

cutting ability is great but just not something I use as option as I thought day to day. I do like the size of the cut pieces but if I'm only getting something ready for my kids a knife is just as fast. If I was making fruit pizza or something where the consistent size mattered more this would definitely be a great time saver.

It made cutting the strawberries very simple and I like that when they cut it it goes into a cup and I just dump the cup into the bowl.
