I looked at a lot of decent and not so decent fat bike shocks, and of course, the Big Names are always preferred.However, those big names are for hard riders, and crazy people who need military grade gear or at least military grade status. As a trail rider, bike-hiker, and beacher living on Cape Cod where there are no mountains, I just needed a little float over the tree roots and rocks on the trails here.I read a lot of reviews, and this one seemed to come out well with most serious riders. Even some crazy kids. At twice the price of the cheap ones, but half the price of the big names, it seemed worth a shot.I have no complaints.Arrived quickly, good instructions, shocks are surprisingly well made. Easy to air-adjust, have rebound adjust, and light weight. Lighter than I was expecting. I have ridden them in rain, snow, and beach (currently my bike is sporting sand tires in the pics) and the sandy pot-holey trails in the preserves here.another reason for getting these is that my bike has a second set of custom 29er wheels that allow it to switch to gravel/road riding in about 10 seconds, and gravel riding is nice and smooth with this big shock.VERY good value (so far with maybe 50 rides locally), well made, and do what they are supposed to. Oh, and a fairly quick ship. Out here we dont expect things to be here offline shipped as fast, so I am pleasantly surprised when they are. Seller was right on top of it.
