It has a range of 0 to 10,000 RPM and internal settings for 2, 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines for modern distributorless systems. Its incandescent back-lighting avoids uneven hot spots for better visibility at night and the shift light follows the curved contour of the tachometer body and can be repositioned for best viewing angle.

Well ive had this tach since 5/22/15 its been an awesome tach worked good even after the swap from a 4 banger to my 360 v8 magnum in my sleeper dakota. Has this cool little "go fast light" that comes on when your banging gears and giving her hell doing 3rd gear burn outs etc. Built a custom bracket to mount it to the pillar over the dash with 3/16 if an inch from it touching the dash (no extra holes in the dash that way). Anyways it works and works damn good and gets you funny looks to at night with no street lights and ppl ride behind you and all they see and hear is orange flashes and lightening popping (true duals no cats shift light coming on). Be aware though sure sign its showing failure is it starts eating your coils if you use the neg side of the coil wire. Ask me how I know 🤔. Other than being coil hungry and starting to lag its been a good one. Good for the poor man mod if your looking for funs and funny reactions from ppl riding behind you at night.

Says my truck is idling at 1500 rpm and also says my truck goes up to 6500 rpm with no issues and no rev limiter. I don’t think it’s even a little bit accurate! It jumps around too! You can rev the engine and it will jump around all over the place... I am going to buy a different brand after all this!

Bought this for my 92 Formula Firebird cause my factory tach didn't work right and finally quit. It arrived sooner than expected and really works well. I installed in front of my a/c vent's didn't want it on dash.

Arrived way earlier than estimated (no complaints)had to wait for my new multimeter to arrive so didn't install it till yesterday (3/10/16) so far so good only thing is when I tried wiring the light to my dimmer it was backwards from the rest of my dashboard lights (when dash was bright the tach was off and when the tach was bright the dash was off) soooo I just spliced it into the hot wire going into the dimmer so it just turns the light on and off works for me don't know what others were talking about but I don't think neither the shift or back light are too bright also it is pretty big I'd say about the same diameter as a 2 liter of pop I mounted it off my pillar towards the bottom corner doesn't get in my way of seeing out the window any I suppose I am taller though so maybe if you were short might be in the way all in all Amazon says it's originally 136 dollars I got mine for dirt cheap I'd say 28 bucks I think it was with shipping so I'm happy it was pretty easy to hook up grant I had something to test my connections with it said for my car with the green wire to hook it up under my dash to a blue wire with a orange stripe I looked under my dash there was a bunch of different blue wires with orange stripe'''' I looked online though and found an easier way to hook it up off the distributor (it was easier and probably safer for my car lol) even easier it's like Nissan knew I would put one of these in the car the wire it was spliced to on the distributor is also green ' I wouldn't recommend just trying it that way though YouTube is the backyard mechanics best friend '' butafterbi got that and the light worked out it does seem to be working right took me a couple tries to get the shift light set just right but even that works great after a little tinkering all in all I'm happy I seen ones on here around the same price buuuuuut they were no name ones that looked like cheesy ones you would put in like a go cart at least this one is a well known brand that didn't just show up out of no where

I bought this to replace my old Sun Tach. It was 3.5". This one is 5" and to big for the steering wheel mount. The gauge cluster in my 67 Camaro is simple compared to the new cars of today. No problems returning it.

This is a great tach all around, Good price, Good looks, Great performance, and its easy to install and set up. I get compliments from everyone who sees it, which is something I didn't really expect. I was afraid it would be a little too big, but I like it and it works very well for me.Pros:Works perfectlyLooks greatEasy installShift lightGood PriceCons:Big (Could be a plus)Have to re-set shift point every week or so. (Could just be mine)nothing else really.Bottom Line:I love it, it works great, it's one of the best prices and best looking tachs on the market. If you have room for a 5" tach, this is the one for you.
