Works as advertised. Connect it to your k-type multimeter and read the temp. Jaws and spring are just strong enough to hold tightly onto a pipe but not too tight to be hard to use. It does exactly what you would expect it to do and it is accurate.

This K-type clamp works pretty good. My multimeter does not accept this type of plug so I had to get an adapter. I simply plugged this into the adapter and then into the multimeter and it worked fine. The clamp is nice and strong so it holds to the pipe, in this case HVAC liquid and gas. The tension was strong enough to keep it secure without being a pain to remove. It was as accurate as the other thermocouples I have been using.
