This does exactly what you would hope that it would do. I needed a holder for test tubes for our science projects and this fits the bill! It's a pretty solid metal stand, I shoved on it here and there and could not bend it with what I would consider regular use. The holes lined up properly for storage.I would definitely pay attention the necessary diameter you are looking for. This states ≤18mm for this particular item. With 30 holes though, that's a lot of science you can get into this one holder! It sits flat on a flat surface without being uneven, it's solid, it's a good price, and it holds a lot. That's all I needed to know. Recommend.

This rack is great for holding 20mm round test tubes for shots! Each shot is 35Ml and 20mm round so they fit perfectly. Each test tube is 1.18oz so just under a normal shot but close enough to not matter. Made of stainless steel and 30 holding areas this is perfect for parties! Yeah this isn't what it is built for but definitely multipurpose. For small or big parties this is they way to go and nothing is thrown away. No waste and highly reuseable. Great piece!

I got these to hold my large collection of Chartpak markers for school. Although they fit them perfectly, the length of the racks seems a bit too long to hold much weight. I don't think a marker is much heavier than a full test tube would be, so I'm not sure I would trust these for critical scientific experiments. As you can see in the pictures, I only have 3 rows filled and the center of the rack is bowed down pretty significantly. I would recommend a center support section on the bottom shelf to brace the center. I will have to find something to sit it on to serve as a support, but these will work fine for my purposes, not sure I would trust them with glass test tubes though.

One of the bottom plates was missing and I had to come up with something to keep the tubes in when moving them around. The suppliers need to do random checks to make sure all parts are there.

I use this on my workbench to hold the shorter screwdrivers with the bit down, and to hold most of my pliers with the handles down (each half in a different "tube hole"). Works great!

I ended up using these for irregularly sized paint bottles and jars, and they did a great job for that. However, I’m not sure they would do as well with test tubes. The grid is big, and the rows are somewhat uneven. I think test tubes might knock together if they sat in these.

Update: 11/02/2024The seller sent another test tube rack directly from them and it arrived in new condition. The rack is an excellent rack for the lab. This one is much better than my old coated wire rack which is easily 60 years old. The rack is sturdy and what I would expect in workmanship for a test tube rack that will stay in my lab. I greatly appreciate the great customer service. This may be a decent test tube rack but was bent in the middle. I contacted the seller and a replacement was sent but it was also bent in the middle.
