These look fantastic on your book case, and can organize and store items that you want to keep handy.

Following the advice of a previous review, I prefolded the flaps before assembling these. I personally find them delightful, they're exactly the kind of silly that I love.If you fold the flaps in the correct order, these will sit flat easily. I do agree that they could use a bit of reinforcment on the bottom if you are putting anything on the heavier side into them but for lighter items, they're just fine.Ultimately, they're just cardboard boxes with fun pictures printed onto them. They're fun but overpriced for what they are.

Looks very nice. There are no instructions for folding the bottoms, but eventually you can figure it out. They do not lay flat. I folded my flaps inward to the blank side and then back before assembling and that helped. I think eventually the bottoms will give out unless taped or glued.

Title says it all. Very difficult to put together and a little flimsy. Pretty cute but that's all. Not really worth the price.

Just received. Looks just like pictures. Ordered 6. Flat cardboard. As I gently folded out to shape Seam came apart...super glue fixed it. No instructions how to assemble...what a pain but got it together. Will need to seal bottom with packing tape to make sturdy. Which I will do. If you need something to look good, not put heavier paper in it and not mess with it much, would be a great display piece. I will not buy again.

I’m happy with them. They do not look like books but look nicer than the paper and folders just on top of the desk. This is my father’s desk and I work from home sitting at it all day. I really needed something. I have been looking for something that wouldn’t take away from the desk. These are functional to hold a lot of paper and folders. They are high enough so the folders don’t stick up on top. Im pleased with the construction of them. Not too flimsy not super sturdy but for the price, I’ll see how long they last.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. Just what I needed to store (and disguise) my collection of choir books. I have nice bookshelves and beautiful books but those thin, multi-color choir books were so very distracting! These decorative magazine holders are just what I needed to get my bookshelves looking like a beautiful library again. They are a good weight cardboard and easy to assemble. Yes, they have a spelling error and the graphics could be more sharp, but still I am pleased with this purchase. I must say these have the potential to be soooooo much better (ie. heavier construction, sharper graphics, SPELL CHECKED, matte finish, dark interior, embossed, gilded, ect.) but then the price would be more. So there you go. I will be buying more to hide distracting things in my other bookshelves around my house and studio.

I like the idea and the photo does not look bad but the Cardboard is extremely cheap and I did not know I had to assembly myself, which it is not big deal but does not assemble into a stable box , the bottom keeps coming apartThe problem is that the files fell out through the bottom of the file holder so it does not hold anything unless you tape it, I did but it is not a flat surface at the bottom and lien on the shelf. It is a pity because it is a nice idea, I thought they were plasti or study ones like the container store has or ikea, I just bought it for the looks , wish someone would creat a beter one with the same idea
