This probe is very sturdy and I have used them for quite a while now. I have used it to check temps in commercial ovens, fryers and even dish washer tanks.

I think these guys are shooting for a +/- 5% T/C, and this one might approximate that over 0-600°C. That allows for 54°F error at span which isn't great. The real issue with this probe, however, is it's slow response time. It takes over 10 minutes for the millivolt scale to peak at 600°F This is only mid-range for the probe. I suspect that the junction is not properly bonded to the sensor.

Works great in two of my meters the one I wanted to use them for is an Amprobe dual temp. The heads won’t fit in my Amprobe.
