I used these to make rock candy. It held up great. The little balls at the end makes it easy to hold on to. The wood is smooth. Perfect for candy and cake pops.

Seeing these natural colored rock candy sticks brought back fond memories and left me craving the treat. At 6” each, these bamboo sticks are the perfect size for growing the sugar crystals. The small wooden balls on the top are secured very tightly and will be great for holding onto the treats and not getting sticky fingers. Most of the sticks that I received are perfect. Just a few out of the 200 sticks have either a tiny splinter sticking out near the top, or a rough spot on the stick. I’m planning on making the candy to use as stocking stuffers and to adorn holiday presents. I’m going to share some of the generous number of them with my daughter, who teaches kindergarten as well as science classes for first graders. They will use them for crystal growing experiments. This is a reasonably priced product that can be used for a variety of purposes.

These are bamboo shaft with a wooden ball.The sticks are not flimsy but not rugged either. These are just the quality I would expect expect for sugar sticks.They are smoothly sanded, light colored, natural, not stained or finished.

Sticks are very sturdy. Have a nice finish to them. I am experimenting with making homemade candy and they have done very well for this purpose, but I imagine there are many other things they can be used for, cake pops, drink garnishes, lots of possibilities.

I will use these to make rock candy in a fun science lab. The bundle has waaaaay more sticks than I will need for the experiment. If all goes well, I will have extras for next year and possibly many years to come. Each stick terminates in a round wooden ball. The stick and ball appear to be well attached. These sticks are bulk packaged in a clear shrink wrap that has to be cut open to get the sticks out. Once open, you will have to find a container to hold the extra sticks.- Mr. Tom
