This is better than what the hospitals use or give you or what you can find in the stores. You can open the end of this and clean it so much better than the others.

Fits Greta for 3 year maybe even 2 year old I don’t think this would have been good for new born our a 1 year old in my experience the fatter the nose sucker the better it is dependent on size and age of child it did the job with the tip woudk have been bigger but it dose the job actually it might be better for 1 year olds because in my opinion the larger the tip and the smaller the nose the better suction u will get awhahahwg to be a parent the joys of wanting ti know if my toddlers snotty nose will be put to rest by such a device is such hope this helps to all the parents that just want there baby’s to get better and don’t wnat to waste there money on a device that won’t fit they don’t tell this u know when ur young hahaha but yesss I give it 4 stars but come on guys lower the price a bit ayyy

I take care of my grandson a few days a week. Poor guy is having trouble with allergies. We couldn't fund a manual suction with the ability to easily clean the bulb near us, so I ordered this.The ones that come apart in th middle often come apart at the wrong time, or it makes it difficult to squeeze. No issues with this. It is so easy to squeeze, the two year old started using it in himself. Cleaning was a breeze. Good suction. What more could I ask for?

Update: I never bought a new one because my baby felt better...until he was sick again. After multiple use, the bulb has become easier to squeeze and now has amazing vacuum power. I love that you can clean the bottom of this with ease. I originally gave it 3 stars to 5 stars. It takes time to be a great product, give it a chance, and be patient. It’s the best bulb I have used! I highly recommend this item!Original: I’m disappointed in this product. The bulb was way too tough to squeeze to get any sort of suction action. Skip this product! Get one of those blue ones that are super easy to squeeze. When struggling with a sick baby you don’t need more trouble. I cannot recommend this product.

I bought this for my newborn as my mom swears by the suction bulbs and ‘how great’ they work and this one works just as good with out the thought of boogers being stuck in it. I like how I can see what comes out of my littles nose and then I can rinse it right away. This is a ‘cheap’ alternative to the frida nose sucker, but of course nothing is as powerful as that. I would definitely use some saline nose spray just before using this on a babies nose though.

We have this aspirator, the hospital one, and the nettipot brand dual mouth suction/aspirator. This by far has the best suction power. My 3 month old has awful allergies and this is the only one that gets all of his boogers out so he can breathe. Every time I can’t believe what it gets out because I can never see anything just looking in his nose. When I try the other the suction power isn’t as strong. This is my go to for deep sounding congestion and I use the nettipot one for boogers I can visibly see.

There are a lot of reviews saying this aspirator is too rigid and hard to squeeze. That almost turned me off from buying it, but then I looked at the dates and saw that those reviews are quite old. I filtered by date and the new reviews were all positive. So I decided to give it a try. I bought it in April 2014 and the aspirator I received is perfectly easy to use! It requires the same amount of squeeze as the regular bulb aspirators that don't have a plug. I don't have to run it under hot water or anything. It's perfectly fine. And I love the fact that you can open it and clean it!!! It also narrows at the tip to prevent over-insertion, which is nice. So, if anybody else is wondering about the conflicting reviews or scared away by the overall 2-star rating of this item, give it a chance - it's unjustly suffering from bad old reviews and a bad older version, but it has since been improved!
