Worked great on my 4tec 2.0 vxl. Just the right amount of slide. The tire itself is rubber on the inside and hard plastic on the outside so they can slip around the rim if you have a lot of power going to your tires. Ran through about 20 packs on smooth pavement with 0 issues. Outside on a fresh paved parking lots is also fun. About 10 more battery packs there.I've been running on 3s, and it's complete over kill and probably wrecked my tires sooner than average. My car is also heavily modified to deliver power straight down to the rears and locked the rear diff so.. my fault. Docked one star because you have to order the entire set and can't order the tires without the rims.

You can probably find cheaper wheels just as good but what I liked about this one is that they came on the same traxxas rims that my car uses so they were a perfect match.

TL;DR - great DRIFT tires for 4tec 2.0 vxl. no braking or grip, but if you want to just go sideways these are radGot these for my 4tec 2.0 and they are nice. I've put a few hours on them drifting in smooth concrete and they seem durable enough , though I'd recommend using them on only the super smooth stuff . I spent some time on some semi smooth stuff (kinda rough) and I could tell a big difference in performance and also wear. I bet (hope) if you just use them in the really smooth stuff they will last a while.Will update this if anything changes but so far I like them , they are what I thought they were.One thing to note, these are strictly for drifting they have no grip and hence no brakes so kids or non serious drifters beware.UPDATE: same story after quite a bit of use, these are great drift tires imo. I noticed more of the same extreme wear on rough surfaces and so I've continued to use them mainly on super smooth concrete, and I'm happy with the results. I'm considering ordering another set for strictly super smooth stuff, will update my review as needed. RN, I expect that a set of these that only drifts on super smooth concrete would last quite some time. well worth the $ if that's what you're looking for imo.

Fits hubs fine, no stock body clearance issues. tires premounted, somewhat glued to rim, but you can spin tire around wheel with sufficient force, no real performance issue there. Handles my Castle Sidewinder3 and Castle 5700 motor on a 2S 50C 5200mah, runs for about 20+ mins hard drifting, minimal wear after 4 asphalt sessions and 2 indoor smooth concrete. Reliable and controllable drifts, worth the money vs. some of those knock off $20 crap deals. I will buy again. Painless transition from on-road rubber / foam to drift setup, great for parking lot bashing!
