In concept this is a good idea BUT this product doesn't work. I'm a cosmetologist so I know a little bit about cutting hair. I cut/trim my dog's hair all the time. I thought this would be a quick and easy tool for in between full haircuts but it doesn't cut hair. Maybe with different razor blades?? It came with a blade in it and extra ones but they were crap.

I tried on 3out of 4 of my dogs with different hair lengths and types, it's a no go.

The Trim A Pet works really well on my dog. I wish that Amazon will sell replacement blades.

I was very disappointed with this appliance. Either my kitty's fur is too thick or the blade was dull. It did not trim.

This tool worked great for me. It's not for shaving ur animals fur down to a buzz cut. It's helpful in just doing touch ups and getting burs and knots out of their hair. I wish this item was sold in pet stores. Awesome useful tool.
