It no longer features dry contacts for switching external devices, such as a solenoid valve, in the event of lamp failure. These new controllers feature a new optimized locking connector allowing full engagement of the connector to the lamp, fewer assembly steps, and fully integrated into the existing connector design to ensure no parts become loose or lost.

The product was used but I bought it that way. It looked new. However, the controller was not the issue with the non functional system. So it was returned. I would purchase from the supplier again.
