This is exactly what I needed. I am fighting cancer and got a new adjustable bed, I needed a table like this because my bed now sits past my night stand. This is easy to put together, easily folded, and the extras like phone holder and under tray are perfect! I would recommend to anyone!

I recently bought one of those folding laptop tables, the kind you can also use as a TV tray, and I'm really pleased with it. The best part right off the bat was the assembly – it was incredibly easy. I think I had it put together and ready to use in just a few minutes, which was a pleasant surprise.Since then, it's honestly become a standard piece of furniture in my family room. I use it constantly, whether I'm working on my laptop from the couch, eating a meal while watching TV, or just need a convenient spot to put down a drink or a book. It's lightweight enough to move around easily but feels stable when it's set up. It folds away neatly when I need the space, but most of the time, it's right there where I need it. It's just a very practical and useful addition to the room.

The ONLY reason this does not get ONE Star is because after I was finally able to assemble it, it is solid and looks good, so there's that, but the actual assembly was a nightmare. Most of the holes were NOT lined up exactly, so 5 minutes into it I had to go to Ace & buy a set of drill bits because 75% of the holes were not properly aligned, so the bolts would not thread properly & I had to drill the holes out to be slightly oblong in order to mount the bolts, yet still fit & not fall apart. If you like actually having to work to assemble something, then this one was made for you. If not, hard pass.

I read the reviews before I attempted to put this together and deeply benefitted from the information within those reviews. As such, I didn't find this very hard to put together. I was very careful to match the holes on each leg so they were on correctly. I had to ask my husband for help with the phone holder - turns out it needed some WD-40 to get it to rotate. My husband also helped decipher which way to install the phone holder, as the design leads you to believe the front is not the front but the back and spatial relations are not a strength for me.Thanks to the heroes who called out the F/G issue (and if you look at the directions, it's not wrong, just very easy to misinterpret, or they have fixed the issue), I was extremely careful when installing the mouse pad tray. Not careful enough to pull the mousepad out before installing the bracket, so I had to disassemble and fix, which was very simple.I will state that when my husband walked into the living room and saw the project, he commented, "That's an awful lot of pieces for such a small desk", which really sums it up well. As the unit folds down to a few inches thick, it would be smart to do a bit more prework, even if it raises the cost. The phone holder does not fold down, though. I feel like that's a fixable issue. The biggest issue, for which I took off half a star because it is clearly stated in the description, but is just really an inexplicable choice, is how tall this thing is. I measured every other C-table and desk in my home. They are all 25.5-26". If you put the feet on this to adjust stability, it is 28" tall. It's way too tall to use as a computer desk except with an adjustable height chair, which kind of negates the need for portability. I'm not dragging my office chair all over the house.Bottom line - I didn't find it terribly hard to put together. It looks nice, is very solid, folds up easily for storage, and works great for a drink table, but it's too high to type on without having to reach up.

I have a long narrow den (120 year old houses have quirky floorplans). I had an ugly white plastic wobbly version of one of these C-shaped end tables and I used it a lot but hated it. Since I'm getting new furniture for this odd 9 foot x 25 foot room I decided to order this. It w8as packaged perfectly. Everything labeled and each metal piece in its own plastic sleeve. More than enough screws which could be inserted using their thoughtfully designed hex screwdriver that came with it. The instructions had clear drawings and were easy to follow, but did require a bit of thinking and common sense for assembling the table top and pull out tray combination.I assembled this Evermagin end table by myself, but a couple of times I wished for an extra set of hands to hold things together for me. I would take their suggestion when assembling the table top and pull out tray. Really read it thoroughly and think it through before starting. In my case, parts "F" and "G" were labeled incorrectly - or so I thought. If I hadn't caught that, everything would have worked, but over time the pull out tray would probably have warped and become almost impossible to pull in and out. Also while assembling the table top and pull out tray, be very mindful of the drawing which indicates the direction to place the thicker parts of rods "F" and "G" - and don't install them upside down like I did at first. If you do, the tray will require some muscle to pull and push...but it will still function. This was when I realized “F" and "G” were NOT incorrectly labeled…I simply had them upside down. It was during this part of the assembly that I wished I knew a young slender fingered pianist who could reach past one octave to help me.The usefulness of this is great. The phone holder swivels 240 degrees so it can be set in whatever position is best at the time. If you're extremely careful and not moving at all, the phone holder will also hold a tablet vertically, but it's not intended for that so I won't make that suggestion. The pull out tray on the side is metal therefore cup or glass condensation won't harm it or leave a ring. For size reference the laptop in the photo is a Microsoft Surface Pro. I typed an email while it was on this table and it was every bit as sturdy as a desk. They included adjustable feet so you can get it perfectly level even if you live in a 120 year old farm house. The best part is being able to collapse it when not in use. It's easy to do. I also jammed a cotton ball into the bottom of the phone swivel cylinder making it a stylus/pen holder.Though a bit of patience may be required for assembling, I think this C-table is well worth the $39 Black Friday price. In fact, it's worth the regular $59 price as well.
