Have been wanting a flat surface ramp for awhile. This was the first I came across that could be one solid ramp or split. Taking apart does require tools but wasn't needed for my first few applications. The toolboxes I was rolling on wouldn't work well with all the ramps with holes so this was perfect. Helped junior move into his new home and used this as a ramp and a mini bridge. Also use the chains to lock and prevent rapid theft from the trailer as seen in the photo.

Handle broke in days. Middle part of this ramp is very slippery. Not reliable. I regret buying it.

The top tie downs really keep the ramp in place. Great quality, perfect for a standard pick up truck.

Very sturdy ramp being used to get my handicapped mother into the house. The ramp has a small, raised side to prevent slipping off of the ramp. Also has a handy handle for carrying the collapsed ramp.

I purchased these to allow a wheelchair bound person the ability to get on an off a boat when it was at shore. They work perfectly. The attached safety chains allowed me to anchor to the boat and the ridges on the surface worked well on providing grip for the wheels on the chair.

It's actually a very useful tool. The surface is solid, not metal rungs like many others. It's hinged so both sides stay together and aligned. The the security chains ensure that you won't have a mishap with the ramps sliding off of your tailgate. After folding it, and carrying it into my garage, I stand it on end in a corner - it takes very little room. I actually had one before I got from a friend (the hing pins were missing, it had no handle and the new chain is much beefier now.
