I am one of THOSE dudes..The dude who MUST know EXACTLY whats going on around him at ALL times and must have as MUCH accurate and supporting information as humanly possible (Im a nerd lol)Im no dummy, and I am aware that most sources of weather information most of us including myself use are based off of internet, TV, radio, word-of-mouth and so on and as such, the information can and is likely delayed to some extent or not relevant or accurate to my EXACT location and I completely understand why that is , and I have lived with it, until I got this cool little gadget.I cannot say enough good things about the usefulness and accuracy of the information this thing provides, in REAL time and without fail about MY exact location instead of some location like a nearby airport or weather station.I have found both the INSIDE, and the OUTSIDE temps and humidity to be VERY accurate and I did my best to verify this by using all other sources of information available to me such as my home smart thermostat which measures inside air temperature and humidty, infrared thermometer which is more for surface temps but provided satisfaction that the temperature readings from this unit were accurate. I also compared current data from multiple online weather sources for my area to see how close this unit was to them in terms of temperature, humidity, heat index and even rudimentary weather forecasting and found that for the price of this unit which is VERY attractive , there will be ZERO regrets from ANYONE who decides to purchase this little gem! It is most definitely worth every penny! It is EXTREMELY easy to setup and use, just install batteries (not included) mount the inside unit and the outside unit, decide what data you want it to show via simple buttons on the back, let it calibrate over time and you are good to go! So far it has been VERY reliable and I use it every single day. The display is easy to read and includes a nice little back light so I can see it whether I have lights on in my home office or no lights on at all.I live in a VERY sunny part of the country (Phoenix area) and initially I installed the outside sensor unit in an area that was exposed to direct sunlight most of the day, thinking that would somehow help it even more accurately "predict" weather and show actual temps I would actually feel being in the sun but I was wrong about that , and there is a note in the instructions recommending specifically against this for what are now obvious reasons. I noticed when I did this, my outside temperature readings were slightly inaccurate likely because the thermistor in the outside unit was affected to some extent by elevated surface temperatures caused by direct sun exposure. I dont know if thats what happened , I am a nerd but definitely NOT a meteorologist lol! Either way, relocating the outside unit to a different, shadier location took care of that. The only "weirdness" I have noticed about what is displayed on screen, is the so-called forecast. I know this cant be expected to be PERFECT, but I have noticed the display shows clouds, rain and sometimes thunderstorms when it is perfecly cloudless and sunny outside and had been for a couple days . Remember, I am NO meteorologist and I do know how rapidly weather can change. I am also pretty sure that in order to even come close to accurately predicting weather based on trends using only information available in this unit, sufficient time must pass in order to collect enough data and as I said, I recently moved the outside unit to a different location so maybe thats why. I will keep playing with sensor location and its not a big deal.I am overall VERY happy about owning this little weather station and I think it will last a long time and I would DEFINITELY recommend it to EVERYONE interested in knowing what the weather is doing in their exact location and in real-time for a VERY good price!5 Stars!!

BOTTOM LINE: Nice 2 feed weather station. Tells temp & humidity indoor and out, plus mold index for the outdoor reading. Display has temporary backlight option by tapping icon at the top edge of the frame. Also forecasts weather based on conditions outside. Pretty good deal for under $20. Runs on AA batteries.THOUGHTS: I have been looking for a new weather station to replace the aging unit we have mounted in our kitchen window. This one from U UNNI is battery operated, which kinda sucks, but it gives you more than just the temp, plus it has a remote sensor that you can place anywhere indoors or out to get a second reading. I use it outside, hanging it from the light fixture on our back porch. (Wife wanted to measure mold index & humidity after our basement flooded recently, so I left it down there for a couple of days. Worked great to track the drying process after we cleaned everything up and ran our dehumidifier down there for a week or so.)The remote sensor is supposed to be "waterproof" but I'm not gonna tempt the fates by immersing it to see if that's true. There is some discrepancy with the percentage of humidity, compared it to our old Costco weather station/clock. About 5% more, according to the new unit. But the temps on both are spot-on accurate. The display screen is about 3"x4" and the main unit seems pretty robust; my wife accidentally dropped it off the high counter in our kitchen (4ft) shortly after we got it, and it didn't affect it at all. (Whew!) It has a slot to allow mounting the display unit to a nail or screw. (We're still trying to determine the best location.) Setting it up was as simple as putting batteries in the main unit & the remote sensor and setting them in place. That was it! No idea how long batteries will last. If the batteries last for a year for both units I will be very happy. RECOMMENDED!

This was the perfect answer for mounting and protecting my Unni Weather Station outdoor sensor. I used the enclosed zip ties to mount to a communications conduit. Product is well built and easy to install. It also has screw mount option included.

5 Stars – Perfect Protection for My Transmitter!I recently purchased the Uunni protective cover for my remote weather station transmitter, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Assembly was a breeze—it came with all the necessary mounting hardware and clear instructions, so I had it installed in no time. One of the standout features for me is the ventilation design. Unlike some covers that trap moisture and lead to condensation issues, this one allows for great airflow, keeping my transmitter dry and functioning smoothly. I’ve had it up through both heavy rain and intense sun, and it’s done an excellent job shielding the unit from the elements. If you’re looking for reliable weather protection and easy installation, I highly recommend the Uunni cover. It’s sturdy, well-designed, and definitely worth the purchase.
