The stand is good and sturdy, but the table top has mounting holes for Delta planers (go figure). I bought this one because the Dewalt version was not available. It still works very well, I just had to create my own mounting holes. Nevertheless the stand is worth purchasing. It works well and moves my planer out of the way so my wife’s car can reside in the garage.

I fully expected this to be made out of flimsy sheet metal and come with substandard hardware, based on my experience with other stands of this nature. I was pleasantly surprised to find the construction of nice strong sheetmetal and the hardware decent as well. Each sheetmetal component was individually wrapped and the hardware all bagged by purpose and labelled! No damaged pieces at all. Very sturdy once assembled. As noted in another review, it comes with a middle shelf. I will probably close the middle section in for clean storage. Now, nothing is perfect—the issues with this stand as I see them: The bottom rail sits too low; it will only roll on al smooth surface. The foot pedal needs to be modified to make it easier to use when it’s mounted inboard. EDIT: I flipped the footpedal around (leaving the caster inboard) as suggested in another review. Works great! Remove 1 e-clip, pull the pin out, flip the pedal around, reinsert pin and reinstall e-clip. 10 minute job. No tripping hazard but the pedal is now reachable. A big thank you to whoever came up with that idea.

It was easy to assemble and served the purpose of a movable stand for my bandsaw. I recommend this stand to anyone who needs a strong , sturdy yet portable stand.

There was one hole that was not properly drilled in the first part to be assembled - had to rasp it out with a file. Made me nervous, but all other holes lined up properly and assembly went smoothly from there on. Solid unit and moves easily. I mounted the 'steering' wheel inside the frame for safety.

Was looking for a stout stand with a small footprint to mount my Jet oscillating spindle sander on. This stand was the right height and had the built in mobile base which made it an attractive. It appeared to be the same stand as the Dewalt, but was a few dollars less so I went with it. The stand was well packaged and in good shape upon delivery. Assembly was straight forward, and could be done without directions. The stand is heavy duty and well made. The stand went together without an issue, all the holes lined up without the need to manipulate the bolts in order to get them through the holes. The only issue I see, and it' a very small one, is that the leveling pads are quite low and if your shop floor is not flat they will hang up. I can recommend this stand without reservation for its fit, finish, mobility, and strength. It's a good value.

Cheap and overpriced. Not only was it made in China I think the instructions were written in China. Bad instructions and included bolts were a little too universal. I ended up using some of my own hardware. It holds my 12" Delta planer nicely.

I ordered the Delta stand model 22-592 when I ordered the Delta Planer model 22-555. Although it wasn't predrilled for this model planer, we didn't have much trouble drilling the holes, except that the bolts they included with the planer didn't have enough threads on them. A quick trip to our local Ace hardware took care fo that.We found one step a little confusing to assemble, when we chose to mount the pedal toward the outside to avoid the shin bruises someone had written about. When doing so, the pedal seems to then work backwards from what the directions describe, as in the the cart rolls when the picture seemed to describe it as the park position and parks itself when it's supposed to roll. That wasn't any inconvenience for us, just confusing during assembly.
