Sometimes quick links have poor screw/body alignment and don't close properly and/or get stuck in the closed position. All 10 of these were smooth and trouble-free. No strength or material type markings. Non-magnetic, so most likely made of a 300-series stainless steel, hopefully 316 and not 304. They will be dunked in the ocean soon, so I'll update if there are any rusting issues.

This is a quality polished type 316 stainless steel quick link. The material is legit austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (does not attract a magnet) unlike many others like the one I bought at Home Depot (costing more than twice the price). It came quickly and well packaged. I am not sure about the 900 lbs rating on the product or if it is really stronger than similar products rated at about 600 lbs. Great product, the price was right, and would buy again.
