I've been using this for over a year at work just to switch my ergonomic keyboard/mouse from one computer to another. With a wired keyboard and wireless mouse it worked perfectly. Once I got a wireless keyboard (USB receiver) it started to misbehave. When I switched back and forth, the keyboard would lose the ability to type some letters, it was very delayed, very strange. I looked back at this item's page on Amazon and read the tip: plug it into power. I didn't realize until today that was possible or even needed. Now, it's switching back and forth with zero issues.

I use this product to connect my laptop to my desktop setup which includes a monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard. It allows me to easily switch from my laptop to my desktop without having to plug and unplug cables. Overall, I am very pleased with this device and as of yet have had zero issues.

Ya im not using this device for anything special, just using it to switch my 1 keyboard between my 2 different computers. Using 2 different keyboards was driving me insane, this is a real space saver to me.Yeppy 2 gaming computers, 1 shared keyboard, but 2 different mice. Gaming cannot wait 1-2 seconds for the right mouse click.Update ::: from 5 star to 3So often times I'm in the dark with my computer, this switch does not have a light for the button. Also there are indication lights yes, these are just circles, not actually lit up numbers.So I struggle to find the button to switch in the dark & I only know I'm connected to the wrong computer when I try typing. Thinking I need to install some additional lighting just to see this device at night.

Work as intended. I have a fiber option USB converter (for audio) and it doesn't support this. This is a very unique purpose so I'm okay that it doesn't support it.

I got it to switch a wired keyboard and wired mouse between two Mac minis. I like that it automatically selects whichever one turns on first. Good value so far.

Do not waste your money. This product worked for about a month and then has failed. Windows refuses to recognize the device. Buy something else.

Hey This USB3.0 switch (KVM) works as expected I have two PCs a Window box and Ubuntu running beside me and I have a Drawing tablet, mouse and keyboard using it. I do wish it had a LED to remind me if a card or USB key is plugged in. It works good with both Systems. Upgrades I wish it had: A plug for a remote button so I could mount the switch with its Cables behind things and run a remote button up to the back of my monitor. If the wire for the remote switch used a 1/8 jack you could use easy to find cables to extend. I plan on hot wiring it with a plug later and running a remote switch. I don't give 5 stars often but other then the cables to the PCs being a little short for what I needed there was nothing I could see to not give it a score of 5. later

The device was unable to handle much more than a mouse and keyboard. As soon as a webcam or usb controller was attached, either computer would have issues with the mouse and keyboard latency. I only needed to switch the mouse/kb between the two PCs so it was OK.Note: I have always had the switch powered by an external USB. Not sure if it'd work otherwise.However, less than 3 months (being switch 3-4x a week) later - neither PC recognizes the inputs from the switch.I would not recommend.

Using with Logitech G910, as soon as you start typing at an average to fast speed, keyboard skips letter, super annoying, otherwise a good product. Led light on my keyboard blinks, so the switch may be losing connection and trying to reconnect like every few 10 seconds or so, sometimes changing the port (like reconnecting the keyboard to another port in the switch helps). Too bad, as it's a live saver when I'm working from home and have to share my keyboard and mouse between company laptop and my desktop computer.

I like how this KVM Switch Selector makes multitasking abilities easier than ever. The one touch button design makes switching my peripherals from my laptop to desktop seamless. However, after a full business day of use it appeared that the power was cutting off randomly. I took notice of this and evaluated it as needing more power. Surprisingly enough, the USB-C connector accepts all modern or generic charging cubes that you would plug into the wall. I used the Apple charging cube that only generates 0.15 amps, and it was not enough. I switched it out with a Roku 0.3 amps charging cube and it works perfectly. I would recommend at least 0.3 amps, which is twice the amount of power for stability.
