4 stars because I don’t have evidence for longevity. But the light works as advertised. It’s bright and the flex neck holds position. Note: Short pushes on the top button control brightness; long pushes change color temperature.

I bought this for my guitar pedalboard. I was attracted by the different color temperatures of light that can be selected, the built-in 5v USB connector and the length of the gooseneck. I plan to attach this to my pedalboard with zip ties. Overall this is a simple, high quality light, and I recommend it for any purpose where a USB powered light that can be easily repositioned is needed. It has a reasonably wide scope of light, and also allows for 3 different brightness levels.

I’ve had a few of these things over the years and they never worked that well because of the USB connection they flicker, but this one is really great. super bright, Has cool and warm light settings has a dimming switch. It’s really the best thing I’ve seen out there. Highly recommended.

This is my second USB lamp but this one produces the quality of light that I want, a dim, warm light. If I ever have the need for a brighter blue/white light this can do that as well. I've found that if an ad for one of these lamps does not specify that it can produce warm light then it probably doesn't. I often work in dark settings unable to see the numeric keypad I need to use. This lamp illuminates it perfectly but without imposing the light anywhere else, like reflecting off my TV screen. I am so happy that I got this one and would highly recommend it to others.

I was quite impressed with this product for the price and quality. It seems to be quite sturdy light that plugs into your laptop USB port. It has High medium and low settings switch. Its sturdy and bendable. The one that impressed me the most it comes with a storage travel bag if you have to travel with it. This would make a great little gift for a christmas stocking stuffer.

The plastic part at the very top that actually holds The LEDs is not well built enough to not split apart on its own and the wiring inside of it is apparently not solid so it flickers when you move it. I would return it but it would be more money out of my pocket to run to UPS than this thing is worth

I only used it approx. 6-8 times a month (on a laptop, so as not to disturb by wife as she watched TV/movies), and it stopped being controllable after less than 10 months. It comes on at more than full brightness when plugged in, and it gets so hot you can't touch the lamps. Not safe to use. If I could give it less than a "1" rating, I would. Oh, and contrary to the description, there was no 'color temperature' adjustment; just 'white'.

Works great, construction is good, materials are good. I found it to be better than I had expected. great non-glaring light source. I will definitely need to order a couple more of them. Originally ordered for a non-illuminated keyboard in an emcomm trailer, found it to be better than the lights supplied by mfgr, at less than 1/8th the cost of a original equipment. Best of all, it doesn't get hot like the originals.Need a bendy-light? this is the one you want.
