These sponges are okay. They are very thin compared to the Weller sponges which makes them less effective.

The sponges wet well, hold plenty of moisture and hold up to the heat and wiping of the soldering iron. I'm recommending these as replacements for your needs.

Its a sponge that holds water and i rub my soldering iron on. Good enough. I could do without the cutouts in the middle though

Great quality square sponges for any soldering iron holder (or soldering station with iron holder) who have square placement for sponges.I personally bought 40pcs to have (in advanced).Remember all (soldering iron) sponges need to be soaked in water before use.Doing that these sponges will give you about a cm more wide (both sides).Really awesome. Totally recommended, especially for professional use.

Excellent sponges,at a bargain price, when used for replacements in your soldering station. I received 21 pads (one more than advertised) and mine measured 56mm X 56mm X 1.3 mm thick when dry. When soaked with water, the sponges expand to about 6mm thickness.However you have to wait for them a long time if you are in the Toronto area like me or the rest of North America I would guess. Mine took about 6 weeks to be delivered by regular mail.

Kind of thin - use 2 on top of each other - and had to be trimmed, BUT work exactly as they should for solder iron tip cleaning during circuit assembly.

Han llegado hoy pese a que me marcaba fecha prevista el 21/12. No las he probado aun pero se ven normales, como otras esponjas que he utilizado.

I'm using these to replace the sponge on my Weller WES51. They fit just right and are good quality. I'm doubling these up because they are very thin, less than half the thickness of the original, but they work well.

You get 20 solder sponges that fit regular iron holders. These are square and can be cut easily to fit your sponge tray. For the price of the set you'll be set for quite some time. They clean the iron just as well as the name brand sponges and thus far have held up very well. Highly recommended.
