Need to remove the adaptive insert to enlarge the opening for installation. Tried and tried and tried. Never did get it removed.

I couldn't seem to find a finial with the right thread for my Tiffany style table lamp. This one fit the bill because it fits two different threads. It fit without using the adapter, but it is rather too small for my lamp. It works for now, so I'll keep it, but I'll keep looking for one that will look better now that I know what thread to order.

This topper was too small and didn’t hold my lampshade straight. When I removed it, the inside thread was a glued on piece which separated and remained attached to the harp. I did eventually get it off after several trips to the tool box and finally got the vice grips out.

When I received this knob I was pleased. I like the antiques finished look . Some people complain about the size I didn’t want a giant knob or expected one for this great price!!!

Trying to figure out what size thread was required for a finial left me guessing. Finial is balanced on top of lamp though not securely screwed into lamp.

I used this to replace a lost one for an antique lamp, and it fits the bill perfectly. Lovely, well-designed, and the price was right. Would buy it again.

I was worried about the thread size and a new finial fitting my lamp. My thread size was easily smaller than 1/4 " which seems to be a standard size. Since this finial came with a thread adapter to the smaller 1/8" size I ordered it and it fit perfectly with the adapter. It is fairly small but works really well!

I was very surprised that this product matches the other topper that I have for my lamp... I previously had bought the one without the gold insert and it didn't work... This is exactly what I need it fitted perfectly, the color of the piece everything was perfect
