Needed a new one since my son somehow mangled the cutting grid on the old one. These things save SO much time when prepping stuff for cooking. Dices onions faster than you can believe. Slices tomatoes super thin. Just make sure you use the handle when using it as a mandolin, or even better, get a cut resistant glove. This thing can take your fingertip off with zero problems if you're not paying attention. No comment on how I know this.

Such a good idea, but sadly, terrible execution... everything is made out of such flimsy plastic, nothing can be chopped at all. I tried a variety of items, and not even the softest mushroom could be chopped by this thing. Peppers were completely impossible, as were onions and cucumber. Even the grater is neigh unusable, and I wound up cutting myself on it rather than the item intended. The chopping portion does not attach to the transparent tub on the bottom so it spends the entire time slipping and flopping over itself, and the various sized chopping portions are a nightmare to clean. Having so many removable parts is a good idea in theory for cleaning, but when they're all made of such poor quality cheap plastic, they wind up being a disaster to try to put together, and the amount of pieces that it comes with are a headache to store... this is not something I usually experience but I literally have nothing good to say about this thing. I really wanted to like it too because I thought it would make chopping up stuff for salads much easier and simpler, but the amount of mess, fiddling around, and inability for this thing to actually chop anything makes just taking out a cutting board significantly easier.

I was disappointed the item was not good as soon as I started to use it it broke I didn't even get to do anything with it.
